    The HIE Hotel in Frackville is at the intersection of I-81 and PA-61, just north of Pottsville. There's a small Mall and a Craker Barrel adjacent to the... property. The hotel is clean, well-maintained and the breakfast was substantial (eggs, pancakes, sausage, yogurt, bagels, etc.). The staff is friendly and efficient. Restaurants in the surrounding towns are sparce. If you want to do something unique, take the mine tour in Ashland, just off PA-61. by a Hotels.com guest on 07/12/11
