"stinky run down and disgusting"
very discusted and when we booked on hotels.com got a good rate but when i recieved my next credit card bill the Days inn is charging me an extra 250.00 for a mattress that was alledgely ruined by someone in our room by urine. The hotel had an accumulation of thick dirt in the bathroom door vent. The sheets were so worn you could see holes beginning in the fabric. The wood trim under the sink looked as though the room had only had a cursery cleaning since its inception. There was a constant pounding, walking overhead all night long (both nights of our stay). We had at leat 1 bug in our room every night. Was not clean at all. Would not recommend this hotel unless they renovate the entire place. "Rude staff and hidden charges."
Upon entering the room my friend and I were struck by the dinginess of the room and a somewhat foul odor. We ended up borrowing a cot at the front desk, and the woman at the desk told us there would be a ten dollar surcharge upon check-out. When I went to check out the next morning I was told the cot would cost $30. After I told the person at the desk […] that I was told it would cost ten, she gave me a really nasty attitude but eventually relented and took ten dollars cash from me. Today a $30 charge showed up on my credit card. The woman at the front desk apparently pocketed the ten bucks and charged me anyway. I would never in a million years go back to this stinky s^&$ hole. "Don't Stay Here!"

"Days Inn Kittery ME"
I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. There were holes in the bath room walls, the front desk wasn't staffed (you had to ring a bell), the doors were locked after 11PM until 7AM. The "free breakfast" wasn't worth even that much, coffee had grounds in it, there was only orange and apple juice and mini muffins, bread or english muffins for toasting. […] The toaster only worked on one of four slots. I was there for a week so it wasn't just a one day opps. We ending up getting coffee and donuts from a local coffee shop for the last 3 days. That hotel was seriously ghetto. For one thing, the bathroom looked like it was from 1970 with cracked tile and a yellow tub. The "continental breakfast" (and I use that term lightly) was basically nothing but some toast and two choices of cereal, and there's only enough seating in the breakfast room for 5-6 people. We had to sit on the floor to eat […] what little there was. Definitely NOT some place I'd go again, definitely not worth the money either. It's the same price as Microtel (where we wanted to stay) but was sold out. Terrible! Each room has it's own "private entrance" and the door didn't even fit in the frame. "Disgusting"
Put it this way... we slept fully clothed. And paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. The first room was slanted to the point a pen would race off of any table, the rooms stunk, and were not clean. "Not much of a place to stay."
