This hotel is not a well kept hotel. It smells and is just dirty. My family was kicked out because my wife found dried old blood on the sheets. The halls smelled like smoke, mildew and musty rugs. The door to our room was tough to open and stuck every time we went in or out. We had to force it and it was very loud. The beds were the only positive part of the stay, at least they seemed clean and comfortable. I found used soap on the top ledge in shower and the blow dryer was black with dirt. […] I washed it off before using. The fitness room is a joke. The room was dirty, dark and stunk. They had three old pieces of equipment, two thin dirty silver mats on floor and that's it. The pool smelled bad so never went in water. I honestly would have not stayed the two nights we did if we hadn't already prepaid. A tent in the woods would have been better. "In bad need of improvements"
While the gentleman that served us was polite you could easily tell this hotel was run down as you entered. In our room you could see the gyprock had be plastered numerous times. and the floors walking through the hall were not level you could feel bulges under your feet. When we turned on the heat the dust that came out was terrible, it definitely […] showed the lack of use and attention by staff and management. We went to breakfast in the morning and there was absolutely no juice in the container nor was any staff around. when I asked for extra toothpaste none was available, despite a sign in a our room saying these toiletries would be available if we needed them. I was very disappointed and I will not rebook there again in the future. "Don't bother. Stay away."
Very poor Ramada. No towel racks in the bathrooms. No elevator. This is a re-modeled hotel that has seen many better days. When we checked in early -- which we very much appreciated -- our door lock did not work. It took a struggle but the chambermaid got it open. When we left our keys were left at the front desk with a note that asked the owner/manager […] to please check the lock and make any repairs. That was 1:45 p.m. When we returned at 11 pm the manager had out keys and had done NOTHING! He declared that they keys worked just fine. I had him come to the room with us -- and the keys did not work. NO SURPRISE. He then got more keys and still could not open the door. Finally after a long time, he was able to open the door. He then worked on our lock for a long time trying to recharge the lock, replace the batteries and it was clear that the lock was not going to accept any key. He asked us to move to another room across the hall. We were tired and hot and had been at a wedding all afternoon and evening and wanted to relax and sleep. Finally we got settled in and slept. Breakfast was another surprise. The dinning area was hot as heck and there was no water. If you wanted a glass of water you had to buy a bottle of water!!! Toilet tank cover had to be removed for us to release chain to flush. Tank was discusting brown. Coffee maker only worked after we crawled under the desk to reconnect to the one functional plug, leaving the desk lamp useless. Tub drained so slowly, had to wait for next person to shower. Outdoor did not shut properly, negating any 'security'.Night stand […] clock was 2 1/2 hrs. fast - got up at 5AM rather than 7:30 as planned. I was told that had I complained in the first 20 minutes of arrival, we would have been given another room. All of the above did not happen in the first 20 minutes. "Don't waste your money"
Hotel was empty when we first arrived to check in, when we came back later the front desk attendant was VERY rude. We requested non-smoking rooms and got smoking rooms! When we asked to be switched to non smoking the front desk woman told me it was not her fault that we got a smoking room and we would be charged an additional 130$ to switch rooms. The […] room smelled like an ash tray... Probably because there was still a dirty ash tray in the room from the guests before us. We encourage all guests to reserve their rooms with great care The room type you select, is the room type the hotel will hold for you. Often times, smoking rooms are deeply discounted therefore, they are quickly booked without noting specific types, conditions or restrictions. If you want "non-smoking" and the only available information is "2 Queen Beds" it is better to contact someone before booking the room, to be certain the room type you desire, is the one that will be reserved. Every effort is made to accommodate room type changes requested at check-in, however, rate differences may apply. Additionally, weekend, holiday, and peak season inventory is extremely limited. When we are completely sold out of specific room types, and have only higher priced rooms available, this makes it impossible to accommodate the change being requested, without the guest incurring an additional charge.
