Vacation home was 5-star. Clean, comfortable, great location, could not have asked for more.When it comes to the pool and spa however, buyer beware! We had a terrific pool and spa and paid for heat. $32.00 a day and got the very minimum they thought they would get away with! The first three days the pool barely made it to 81 deg. and the spa we were […] told was not a spa but a small "spillover pool" that does not get any hotter than the pool! On the fourth day of our stay the pool guys came to clean. We asked them some questions about the pool and spa and found out everything we were told was a lie! They showed us how to operate the spa, turned up the heat, and set the timer so that we could enjoy the pool/spa morning, afternoon and evening. When i complained about their deception i was told i did not pay for a spa but just pool heat! Are they for real? You can have a home with a pool and spa you just can't use the spa!? They did comp. us heat for the last 2 days of our vacation. Read more

This was the best place I stayed ever! My wife and son stayed in a Silver home in a lovely private community. The house and landscaping were well kept. There was a pool in the back of the house enclosed in a large attached fence like net to keep the insects out. It was all fabulous. The house was very clean and spacious. When we arrived at 1:00 am, we pulled up to a gated community, before we left for the trip my wife asked what happens after hours and they said someone will be on call, they most certainly are and will call back no more than 2 hrs from when you originally called only to tell you that you are in the wrong area(and we were not) When I finally spoke to […] someone on business hours I complained about not having the gate code and they said that they sent and updated itinerary which I was unaware we needed to wait by the computer, we arrived home today only to find our welcome package in the mail. The rugs were all stretched, the toilet leaked and when asked for a late check out it was not a problem for $50 extra dollars on top of the already $50 dollars they take from you as a processing fee, so be aware that you will be charged on top of what you already pay expedia. The staff seem nice they are quick to blame you for things and the phrase they use frequently is it is wear and tear of the house. The pool was a plus until you see an unfamiliar mexican messing around out back not knowing he is the pool cleaner, a little disturbing when you have children..I would dot my I's and cross my T's before booking with these folks ever again. We rented a 4 bedroom home near kissimmee, Florida for a weekend at Disney from Starmark vacation homes. The house itself was fine but the mattresses were of used-thrift store quality. Unbelievable. Super thin, and so so unformfortable. I have stayed in pleanty of cost cutter cheap hotels in my younger years and yet never experienced this low a quality […] of bed. I wish I was being dramatic, but it was really that bad. We contacted Starmark's office and politely explained our problem and they sent out a person who told us that the quality of the homes, beds, furniture was up to the homes owner and they simply left without offering any resolution. Basically a big who cares! I strongly recommend against this company. We have stayed at many rental homes and town homes for vacation with Other vacation home rental companies and never had this problem. This is my first review I have ever given, I am only taking the time because I feel so ripped off. Our entire trip was effected due to no one getting any rest due to the horrible accomidations and a company with terrible customer service. Read more

Rented a 5 bdrm for the family. It felt like home away from home. Wished the check out time was a bit later but overall we had a grand time. The kids enjoyed the pool and us adults enjoyed not going more than 10 steps to take them to the pool. They keep asking me when we are going back.

This vacation home was sold as being in the Celebration area and as it turns out it was 15 miles away! The area was very far from everything, the neighborhood was not very nice, the house was large and well laid out but the furnishings were ugly, the bed linens where mismatched, ugly and look like they have been washed 1000 times before. As we arrived to the house, everyone decided to jump in the pool, only to find out the pool was very, very, dirty and slimy !! (problem #1). The next day the A.C BROKE, and we spent an 16 hours in a house that was 95degrees, still not even being able to jump in the disgusting pool to cool off! "On-Call" Costumer service did not have a technician to […] available and said there was no other home we could be transferred to. So, the NEXT day, comes the Air conditioner guy to repair the unit and 2 hours later the pool guy clean the very dirty pool, BUT he left halfway through the process and emptied the spa without letting us know ( i have children that could've easily fallen into that hole), he just left and never returned. To resume... The bathrooms had no hot water until DAY #3, Filthy pool, the pool heater was also broken, Hot tub was drained out, Broken A.C in 97 degree weather, TERRIBLE costumer service. We were not able to enjoy our stay, it was just so exhausting that it was one issue after the other, and no one to help. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE, THERE ARE MANY OTHER GOOD VACATION RENTALS, STAYING HERE WAS A BIG MISTAKE. Read more

I made a reservation for a weekend. I arrived to the "hotel" with my entire family and I found out that the office was closed. The reception was over the phone and very unpolite: -- "My manager told me that you need to pay hundred and fourty four dollars of extra fees in order to give you the address of the house and the code for the keys" --. I rated the cleanliness a 4 only because the master comforter needed to be laundered or replaced. If there is a spot that I can't identify, I'm creeped out. Other than that, the place was great. I had everything I needed to make a meal (even a cool salad wash/spin contraption), do laundry, etc. Our place even had a spa tub. LOVED IT!

Loved the house! Close to the parks kids loved the pool! Very clean and up to date! Only complaint was the pans for cooking were in poor shape but called the office and they brought us new pans in the next hour! We did not want to leave! Would def go back again:0)

We stayed at a gold 5-bedroom home with private pool. We experienced problems from day one. When we got to the check-in office in Kissimmee around 10pm, the staff had already left, even though the Welcome Center was supposed to be open 'til midnight. They didn't even leave our paperwork in the lock box. An after hours employee had to text us the information […] and give us directions. Then there was the house. It smelled funny like a humid basement that hasn't been aired for a long time. Surfaces were dusty and the carpets were visibly stained. The toilets had traces of excrement on them. The wi-fi didn't work and it took them two days to fix it. There wasn't a single flat TV in the house. They were all 20" or 27" old-fashioned sets. In general, the house had a dirty, cheap feel to it. The location was good and the daily rate was excellent. But I would have gladly paid more for a cleaner, better equipped home. Also, beware of a hefty "cleaning fee" for stays shorter than seven days. Read more

However if you haven't got a car you have to walk about 30 minutes to the nearest bus stop.But some villas are much further away from public transport. The pool was nice, however the netting around the pool was missing in parts on the roof. The alarms for the doors to the pool were not working. either no batteries or missing sensors. Quality of house far exceeded our expectations - we were expecting a two bedroomed apartment and were given a three bedroomed house. Pleasantly quiet resort particularly at night. Wonderful wildlife on the lakes. Good facilities for families at the pool and playground. We nearly cancelled at this point until we contacted Starmark and found this was misinformation. Also lack of information in the property itself, for instance we were not told about the extremely efficient daily rubbish collection and where to leave rubbish. The house was the perfect size for our family of six. Unfortunately, most of the consumables you would expect to see were not sufficient. For our 11 night stay, there were 2 rolls of toilet paper, two dishwasher tablets, two garbage bags. There was no dish soap, dish cloths or kleenex provided. I would expect something like laundry detergent to be […] excluded, but all of the other items listed above were not sufficient. We purchased toilet paper, dish soap and dish cloths which were only partially used by the time we left. Also, during our stay, we produced enough recyclable waste, but there were no recycle bins available. We booked with Starmark for spring break and it was the best choice for our family. We all had our own rooms and space, the kids loved the pool and games room. The home came outfitted with what we needed, extra linens and towels were in the closet. Plenty of dishes, wifi is included, which was nice as well and there were even dvd's to watch. I contacted Starmark before booking through expedia and the service was pleasant, the agent was able to answer all my questions and kept in touch with me via email as our trip came up. Como a minha opção foi por alugar uma residência, vou me restringir a comentar sobre a casa que me foi disponibilizada e a sua localização. A casa estava localizada em um condomínio de residências, em Kissimee, ao sul de Orlando, próximo à supermercados e ao complexo da Disney. Quanto às instalações da residência, fiquei muito satisfeito, a casa tinha […] todos os equipamentos e utensílios necessários, era ampla e limpa. Tinha também piscina, que não usei em função do frio, e uma jacuzi. Minha única restrição foi quanto a não existir suporte da empresa fora do expediente e aos finais de semana. Tivemos um problema com o código de segurança de entrada no condomínio, que nos foi fornecida errada (vencida), e como era no final de semana, tivemos de contar com a ajuda de vizinhos e da síndica para obtermos a senha correta. Das Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern war sehr groß. Die Teppiche in den Räumen waren sehr dreckig und abgenutzt. Der allgemeine Zustand des Hauses war nicht gerade der beste (dreckiger Herd/Mikrowelle/Krabbeltierchen). Man musste für jede Kleinigkeit extra bezahlen, wie z.B. Safe (einmalig 30 USD), Grill (wöchentlich 60 USD), Poolheizung pro Tag […] 35 USD (mindestens für 3 Tage zu mieten und 24 Stunden vorher anzukündigen). Pool wurde in den 14 Tagen erst am vorletzten Tag gereinigt. Starmark Vacation ist sehr unflexibel. Alles in allem würden wir nie wieder bei Starmark Vacation ein Haus buchen. Read more
