We really enjoyed our short stay. We were in town for a big birthday party at the High Rocks right next door - perfect location to be able to walk home. It's literally across the parking lot! We also enjoyed the fact that there's two free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks (soup, veggies, cheese, hummus, pitas) available at night for each […] person, plus free breakfast. I stay in a lot of hotels (60+ nights a year.) This was really nice. Room was clean and had a nice view of the river (and the highway). Only bad thing was the road noise when you open window but it was quiet as could be in the room. We needed a place for my elderly parents, the 2 of us and our dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Offered a room to fit our particular needs and it was perfect. Daily housekeeping kept the room fresh and neat. View of Clackamas River, which is right out the back balcony is gorgeous. Although there's hwy noise nearby, if the windows are closed […] the room is quiet. Air conditioning and the smoke free environment kept it nice. Didn't smell any cleaning product odors. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Forgot to let them know the ironing board was broken and the bathroom fan not working. We liked having WiFi. Breakfast in their cafeteria offered a wide selection, eggs, potatoes, bacon, fruit, cereal...etc. All included in room price! "would go back again"
It was a very nice hotel. however, toilet & shower were not very up to date. There was no fan in the bathroom, which made it very humid after a shower. Needed a new toilet seat. They tightened it once, but it must have been stripped, so it came loose again. I am 75 and somewhat disabled. I was afraid I was going to fall off of it.Genuine Expedia guest review
