very nice place to stay when in the area. Not the typical offering for lodging. The room was very spacious and the bed was lovely. I think the rooms' decor and the bathroom were somewhat tired - however the staff and the inn itself were nothing short of spectaular. The staff was terrific from the time we arrived until we left we were made to feel at home. They even brewed a pot of coffee just for us because the closest coffee shop was going to close in 5 minutes. We loved the Inn! We were looking for a retreat for the night for our anniversary and this was perfect! Even though it's five minutes from the marina, we totally felt away from it all. We did a 5 day vacation in Cali starting from San Fran to LA and this by far was my favorite. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast, snacks, and Hors d'oeuvres were delicious. This place is a gem. Very comfortable, reminiscent of old Inns in New England. The view from my third (top) floor room of the expansive salt water marsh/wetland preserve that adjoins the property was fantastic. If you enjoy birds, bring your binoculars !
