"Overall a good experience"
We ordered the tomato bisque from the hotel menu and we were served marinara sauce in a bowl. The hotel staff took it off our check when we asked them to. Our only complaint is: On Friday and Saturday nights other guests on our floor were extemely loud and running up and down the halls yelling. Loud music was being played until well after 10:00pm. Everything was great except the noisy neighbors above us. For 2 hours played loud music and talked above it. I was asleep for part of it but my daughter was awake most all of it. When I awoke and called, it took forever for the desk to answer. When they did, they did send someone to tell them to quiet down. It improved but not until the second call […] did it get quiet enough to go back to sleep. At least the hotel dealt with it but since we had to sign that we would be quiet after 9 I would think they could monitor the halls a bit to make sure the rules are being followed. The location was awesome as it is a hop skip and a jump from the mall. The staff was very friendly. The room was super modern and clean. My friend and I stayed with our 2, 12 yr old girls as we enjoyed some shopping at the mall and had a mother/daughter conference the next day in Philly. I stayed one night with my boyfriend to see a show at the Valley Forge Casino. I could have easily stayed at the casino itself but there were a few things about this hotel that attracted me. For starters, the hotel's description read that it offered a free shuttle to anywhere within a two mile radius. Unfortunately for us, the hotel could not offer […] this in the snnowy wether. I also was interested in the firepit (which was not really used due to the weather conditions) and the complimentary breakfast buffet offered in the morning. I was very pleased with my stay. We had our 4 month old daughter with us and were concerned with cleanliness. The room was clean, neat and did not smell. When we arrived, they only had us down for a regular room, rather than a suite which was booked on Hotels.com. My rating is just based on one night in the room. Having a newborn in a hotel on Christmas day is a challenge and we were very happy during our short stay.
