"Ok for quick stay"

"Decent, no thrills motel"
This hotel was OK. It is definitely a dated motel. I was told by the manager that it was once a Drury Inn before the new one was built next door. Sure enough, the beds said Drury Hotels on them and were very comfortable actually. The room had a slight "dirty" smell to them and the carpets were not very clean. The shower head is very low at around 5 […] feet tall so I had to bend over to fully shower. Surprisingly this hotel has "extra person" fees so the advertised rate ended up being higher. The location is great being right off of I24 and easy to get too with many eating and shopping establishments close by. "ONE NIGHT STAND"
HOTEL WAS WORN AND NEEDED A FACELIFT. CLEANLINESS WAS SATISFACTORY. NOT MUCH VARIETY ON THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO STAY ONE NIGHT BUT NO LONGER. "Good Enough for a 1-night Layover"
We arrived in the evening and the receptionist was so-so in friendliness. (He was curt.) The motel is open air so no interior hallways and it was raining. There was no access through the front lobby so we and our luggage were forced to get drenched. This dated motel was clean but the double beds seemed tiny. We could hear a conversation from a nearby […] room. The price was right and they did not charge extra for our 2 dogs, although we were not sure why they put us on the third floor. (The motel was pretty empty.) Someone door-dinged our truck pretty badly. (We noticed when we went out to eat that someone in a blue PT Cruiser parked very close to us even though the lot was nearly empty. After reading other reviews we expected the worst but were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, people at check-in friendly, and outside area not as shabby as led to believe. The bed was not top of line comfortable, but didn't sag in the middle and was firm. There were no signs of bed bugs and fresh linens were supplied daily. The front desk people were great and the room was clean but that's where it ends. Everything needs updating. Very tired looking and unkept exterior. "Can't judge a hotel by it's cover."
Hotel is conveniently located to interstate. Outside appearance is lovely, the neighborhood is questionable. The staff is wonderful but the room...the rodent droppings beside the nightstand made for nervous sleep. Could not wait to leave the next mornig. This site is located on a main thoroughfare and is close to restaurants, etc. It was easy to access the Luther Carlson 4 Rivers Center from Hinkleville Road. I was not pleased with the cleanliness of my room however, as the carpet was badly stained and there was a hair on the phone and on the tub walls. We were moved from our room the next day because of the noise from the parking lot at midnight. People were arguing and talking very loudly for quite a while. The other side wasn't alot better as we heard people talking loudly at 5 am also. I guess that I can't expect the hotel can't make people be less stupid and thoughtless. "Never again"
First appearance was unsettling. The building was old and outside walls had huge cracks. Area was noisy. Room had distinct odor when door was opened. Room was attractive and appeared clean. "Definitely for the Thrifty"
The location was decent. Rooms were clean, reasonably updated...oh but the sheets. And blankets. They felt so old and worn and threadbare. I would recommend this to someone who is super thrifty (like me) and doesn't mind just having the bare necessities and not lots of comfort.
