"nice place with all the extras"
I enjoyed the ability to jump on the tram and go to the beach or the restaurants without needing to drive around since its such a large property.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything in one place, No need to leave the reso"
We were there for the Gumbo Festival, and normally we shy away from resorts. And was a bit leary of staying at the Sandestin Golf and Beach resort after reading the reviews. But the negatives posted we were not confronted with. We plan on keeping up with their events throughout the year so we may return. The friendliness of the staff from the front […] desk to the employees in the Village were awesome and did everything to make whatever we were doing pleasant! Return? Oh yes!! "Great location"
Careful when booking with a specific rate, your rate does not include the high resort fees. They add that on when you arrive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place to stay. Very family oriented, or not if you want an adult experience. Didn't even have to leave the hotel grounds because there was so much to do. No beach access, though it was less than 5 miles away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"We had a wonderful stay at Sandestin"
Everything from the location to the atmosphere was great and I can't say enough good things about this place. Even though the Bayside Inn was the cheapest place in Sandestin it was well worth it. The room had a microwave, frige, utensils, plates and cups along with a balcony for every room. I loved that the resort fee was affordable and for the fist […] time well worth it. They also had free parking, a big plus cause I hate when resorts charge for parking. The Village was nice place to hang out at, they had something for all age groups. The beach was also beautiful, less than a mile away and it was clean and free of trash. I can't wait to get back next year and this time take the kiddos with us. "Sandestin Golf and Beach resort"
Love Love Love! I grew up going to Destin and never knew about this wonderful resort! We stayed at the Bayside Inn. The only downside was that it was kind of hot, but the resort itself was marvelous! There are so many bars, restraunts and activities that you do not need to leave the resort! I can't wait to go back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bayside Inn"
Pros: Great Location-close to restaurants, shopping, golfing and nightlife. Tram runs ever 15 min to beach side of resort. Staff was friendly. Cons: Overall room was decent, but the bathroom was dirty. Shower knobs had black mold in them and grout was stained badly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bayfront room"
I was very pleased with the qaulity of the room. I was a little worried before my stay because I had read several of the negative reviews about Bayfront inn. Let me be the one to tell you, these rooms are very nice. We could open up the curtains in our room and all you could see was water from the bay. It was beautiful. This property however IS NOT […] close to the beach, which we knew before hand so it was no big deal at all. The only problem I had out of the hotel was at check-in they gave me one king size bed instead of the two beds that was requested on Hotels.com. The hostess said that there weren't any rooms with double beds available. This would have been a huge inconvenience if I wasn't good friends with the other person I was staying with. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay at the bayfront inn. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"LOVE IT...without the added on fees....."
I booked this place to stay in Destin FL...and it was GREAT....however....when I checked in at the desk.....there was an outstanding balance of almost $150.00. When I inquired about the fee...I was told it was fees that are paid directly to the place.....NOT told to you by my booking sight.....a tad more than angry. Also....should you choose to extend […] your stay....even on a Sunday...make SURE you ask the price before booking. I did this...and much to my surprise....and MUCH unlike booking on an outside site (hotels.com)....the room was TRIPLE what I have originally paid.....and more than the ENTIRE weekend.....YIKES!!! "Great value @ Bayside Inn"
Be sure you know where on the property you are staying. The Bayside in was a great value, but not the most ideal. The property itself was great and close to great shops, restaurants, and of course the beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A great weekend getaway!!!"
My friend and I visited the resort on a girls weekend getaway and I must this resort was the best option. It was quiet so I was able to rest, the restaurants were in a good distance to walk. The resort itself is just beautiful, I'm a nature person so I loved the grounds. I am planning on bringing the family back soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Condo at Sandestin Resort"
The condo was lovely. There were 8 ladies staying there. The bedrooms were very nice with conrfortable beds for 6 of us, but the pull-out bed in the couch was awful. The ladies that slept there got little sleep and woke with terrible backaches. Also, there were no paper towels, facial tissues, napkins, etc. I understand that the condos are individually […] owned, but the resort needs to make sure that the condos are stocked for the price you pay. "Bayview Inn"
The Bayview is in a lovely setting in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, which we loved. The accomodations were disappointing. The room was small, only full-sized beds were available and they were hard and small. The room and hallways smelled like a convalescent home, which was not ap[pealing. Check-in ands finding our room was a little frustrating because […] we arrived to check-in at 5:20 PM to discover everyone had left for the day at 5PM. Check-in wasn't allowed until 4PM, so that gives you 60 minutes to check-in. This was quite frustrating. Then one of our room cards never worked. The grounds and besch are beautiful. I would come back again if I didn't stay in the Bayside and made certain I was there at chek-in at 4PM. They should warn the unsuspecting guest of the limited time to check-in. That would be considerate. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very pleasant"
Nice room, very clean and comfortable bed. Only complaints were the shuttle to the Village didn't start running until 3pm but the walk there was very pleasant. Main complaint was that I was charged an extra $10.00 hotel fee when I arrived. Everyone in this country seems to want to sham aother nickle out of you. I long to see the day when the consumer […] is protected from so called hidden fees! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel but..."
The Sandestin Resort is beautiful with friendly staff and many amenities. We went in the off season so the price was very affordable. We had full access to all the perks; tennis facilities, swimming pool, spa, full gym, golf course, ect. Also there are several places to eat, shop, and drink. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great […] weekend. However, be aware that hotels.com does not charge you all the fees. The resort had an extra $10 charge at check out. They did not tell us this when we checked in for some reason. This would have been very annoying to deal with after the fact. It is lucky we didn't use the speedy check out option. "Pleasantly surprised"
We booked this room to be in the same area of our daughter & son-in-law who was staying at the Hilton (it was too expensive for us). We got a great deal on a room at the Sandestin Bayside Inn. We were pleasantly surprised! We got the bayside view, king bed and non-smoking room just as we'd requested. The hotel was in pretty good shape, quiet and very […] convenient. I'd recommend the attached cafe (Another Broken Egg Cafe) for breakfast. The location was very convenient. You could cross striaght over the highway and be in the beachside portion of the resort. Theres plenty of bike trails and even a tunnel under the hightway for bikers and joggers. We'd stay here again for that price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
