for a cheaper option this place is very good value - clean and bright rooms at a good price. plenty of parking. rooms with a kitched are well equipped. furniture is chipped and scratched, but that's the worst i can say about this place.

The only good part was the beds were comfortable. We had a two room kitchenette, the kitchen was disgustingly dirty and the fridge was filthy and unusable. There was nasty garbage stuck on the floor. The hotel was run down. The carpeting and chair had stains on it. We could not even close our front door to lock it, as the wall was recently hit by a car, and was not closing properly. Our stay on October 19-21, 2012 was not the most pleasant experience. We were garunteed a non-smoking room, but were given a smoking room. We were not able to be switch to another room as the motel was full both nights of stay. This made sleeping difficult as the room smelled terrible. One of the window frames was bent so the window did not close all […] the way. The drains in the bathroom were very slow. For example when using the sink to wash our hands it filled with water, while taking a shower the water was above our ankles when we were done. The room was not very clean either. The rug looked as if it had not been vacuumed in a while. The walls and doors were dirty. The radiators had a great deal of dust on them as did the funiture in the room. The paint on the bathroom door was chipping. There were no electrical outlets in the very outdated bathroom for blow dryers and such. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. the bed was horrible. The only reason i booked this was because it was the only motel available for the family and friends weekend at SUNY Oswego. I will never go here again.

I think if Hotels.com wants to maintain a reputation for advertising anywhere near quality hotels, you will take this off your list. We had a smoke-free room that smelled like a smoking convention was held in it. The room was dingy, old and dirty looking. The sheets didn't fit the bed. The only saving grace was location. Toilet was loose and not fastened to floor properly. Bathtub and Sink were clogged or had really slow drains. Not a very pleasing experience. Better of spending twice the price next time.

We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Wright's Marina in the Oswego Harbor. We were in a fishing tourney the following morning. For what we needed it to be, a place to catch some sleep and a shower in the morning it served it's purpose. The location however lacks the parking for any type of trailer, be it a boat, camper, or rec trailer. […] We requested a roll-a-way bed for a third member of our group. We were charged for a bed that looked like it came from the 50's and was busted up enough, that the wheels wouldn't roll. The employee said that she hated having to retrieve this bed every time, and told me I would have to take it to our room and set it up. That meant down a set of 5 stairs and getting help from another guest to assist. Once deployed, the bed was fine. The towels that came with the room are small, thin, and were stained from cosmetics from the looks of it. We probably would stay here again, but will be bringing our own cots and towels for the next stay. Read more

I booked this hotel because the price was cheap, Actually I can say I have never stayed in a travel lodge before but have stayed in their partners, Days Inn and Super 8. I was pleasantly surprised with this room given the last time I stayed here it did not seem as clean and spacious...I must have ended up in a "suite" because there was a kitchen and dressing area. Not the most comfortable bed, but it worked!

I'm glad this hotel was lower priced, and although the staff, and the cleanliness where excellent, the hotel was severely outdated in the bathroom, and the general upkeep of the hotel was poor. There was a loose outlet in between the beds. The hotel entrance door, had a huge gap in it when closed, which allowed alot of cold air to come into the room. […] The bathroom, had no ground fault interupter plug, which was right above the sink. It also had no ceiling fan, and the plumbing in tub and shower head was very shoddy. We visited Oswego for a close family members funeral...Never again will we stay in this Travel Lodge. Windows didn't close tight because the handles were stripped, bathroom sink held up by a 2x4, bed was 16 inches off the floor, none of the outlets had covers and wires were exposed, bathroom had NO fan and NO outlets. Had to call and get a hairdryer […] because even though advertised that each room had one ours didn't. The coffee pot was a 1 ONE cup at a time, not even the 2-4 cup pot!!! and all that was left in our room was enough for 2 cups of coffee and 2 cups of tea!!! for a double occupency!!! VERY NOISEY STREET ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! I know you get what you pay for but we were one step up from sleeping in the vehicle!!! Read more

You get what you pay for. If you don't mind door handles that come off, faucets that drip, loose toilet seats, no drain stopper in the tub, green & yellow tile, vinyl floor tile placed poorly on top of ceramic tile, a spotty paint job, then stay here. On the plus side it was quiet and the beds were decent. A very tired motel.

THE SHOWER MADE THE ENTIRE BATHROOM WET, WATER SPRAYED EVERYWHERE. THE BATHROOM NEEDED REPAIR, DESPERATELY AND SHOWER HEAD NEEDED REPLACING. THE RESERVATIONS WERE NOT CORRECT IN ANY WAY WHEN I ARRIVED, THE HAD 2 ROOMS BOOKED FOR ME AT A HIGHER RATE THEN ACTUALLY BOOKED FOR AND ONLY ONE ROOM WAS ACTUALLY BOOKED.

Calling this a 2 star hotel is quite generous. I have stayed in lots of not so nice places but this was by far the worst. The room smelled like a mens bathroom and the sink was held up by two by fours. There were drunk frat boys and what appeared to be hookers staying a few rooms down and extremely wild and noisy parties above us. We were not able to […] complain to anyone since after 12am there is no one at the front desk and you were told to call the Days Inn a few miles down the street.
