Savannah’s charm is visible in the downtown’s squares, Spanish moss-covered live oaks, and its abundance of historic buildings, such as the Andrew Low House. Along the Savannah River, musicians, galleries, and shops compete for attention on River Street, while iron bridges and cobblestone attract visitors to Factor’s Walk. The art scene flourishes, thanks in part to the Savannah College of Art & Design.see all hotels in Savannah

"Pay a little more for a lot better"
Hotel was in a bad part of the city. The service was horrible and rude. They rather talk about what they did the night before than to help you. I will not be staying at another one again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For a Four Points in beautiful Savannah, this was really disappointing. Stains in tub and carpet, the advertised gym is a bike, a treadmill and a yoga mat in a room the size of a closet. Also, I waited 45 minutes for a car that the staff insisted would only take 10 minutes. Almost missed my flight. Would never stay here again, wouldn't recommend it […] to anyone. The room was comfortable, but dated & dirty. Had to go to other floors for ice, as the machine was broken on our floor & didn't get serviced the 4 days we were there. Fitness "center" had 1 treadmill, 1 bike (that's it)-closet sized room with a maximum occupancy of 4! The shower needed recaulking and cleaning (moldy). This place probably was pretty […] nice once, but it needs a facelift & some major cleaning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"you would regret staying here"
Sheraton guests expect quality and good friendly professional service. I got neither. Staff appeared bothered if you ask for assistance. I rarely saw smiles on any of the staff. I forgot my necklace in room and had to make two phone calls per day from Aug 4 to Aug 11 before anyone ever spoke to me with the simple reply..was it found or NOT?? I was emphatically […] ignored. When I finally got an answer it was result of me calling repeatedly! not result of someone returning my call. I will never stay there again. Your money will be better spent somewhere else. Overall , I would not recommend this hotel, because multiple minor defects added up to an unpleasant experience. However, the location cannot be beat for the historic district and the place was quiet and clean. Valet parking was poorly coordinated. No answer to the number to call - then delays were encountered. No cream cheese for my bagel at the $12 […] buffet. Recycled plastic juice cups. Broken ice machine. Mattress with huge lump. Price was fair. Small be adequate rooms. would only give it 2 stars. "Cheap Hotel close to River Street"
When we checked in, our room was not clean...yogurt and soda left on the side of the bathtub. Hotel staff assigned us a different room that wasn't as nice as the first one. Also, we had to pay extra for Continental breakfast and Valet parkingGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not as Advertised"
Employees were very friendly, professional, respectful, and polite. Hotel was not as depicted and advertised by Hotels.com. Hotel management was a bit unorganized but made a concerted effort to please. Location was fine but Hotel parking fees were expensive. Cleanliness was not up to par for this chain. Will not stay at this location again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
While trying to book and reserve a room staff was not willing to help , reservations needed to be changed hotel was un willing to help or at least provide some type of customer service . I would not recommend this hotel to any one due to staff attitude aloneGenuine Expedia guest review
"Bad Room Service"
I stayed at the 4 Points Resort during Memorial Day weekend. I was not pleased with the size of the room there was really no space for bags and luggage because the closet was so small, we had to climb over our bags the entire weekend. I'm not one to fuss over the small things at a hotel, but this hotel just didnt do it for me. Upon arrival I noticed […] that the sink and shower were not cleaned, and after leaving our room the next day we never received room service. Hotel was in a good location, service was good but the room and room service was not worth the money at ALL.! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expect from Starwood hotels"
too small room, sink is ridiculous. Looks outdated, cheap. Not what I expect from Starwoods chain. Breakfast very bad. Location is perfect but the hotel is not. Needs renovation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Over charge for PARKING $18.00 a night!!!"
The front desk was okay, they forgot to leave coffee cups twice tough to have coffee from a instant machine with out cups. Forgot to leave a bar of soap, which is tough to do to!! $18.00 nightly for parking was a total rip off! Would definitely stay some where else next trip to Savannah!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"First time in Savannah"
The Hotle itself was beautiful. The service was great and everyone was friendly. The Location was on the outscerts of downtown but not too far from the main attractions. Only thing that was bad was the room size and the nasty blood stained sheets that were on the bed. You could tell they had been cleaned but the stains were very visible. These sheets […] should have been thrown away ASAP. Probably going to choose a different hotel closer to the middle of town next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just stay somewhere else"
Room was not ready when we arrived (3 p.m.). After waiting around for about 20 minutes, we were then checked into our room and given our key; upon entering our room, the maid was still inside cleaning. She was not happy we were there and made no effort to hide her displeasure. We left our things in our room and went out. At 7:45 the next morning, we […] were awoken by the fire alarm and had to exit the hotel along with many other guests. Turns out it was a false alarm. Thanks. Then, perhaps out of retaliation(?), we received no maid service that day. Upon checking out the following morning, we informed the front desk clerk of our displeasure. She was kind and apologized, but didn't offer any comp or anything. Oh, and, the bed was horrible uncomfortable; like sleeping on sheet rock. The springs were very loud. "For a Relaxing Vacation, Stay Elsewhere"
The room we were given the first night was extemely noisy because of loud traffic, lots of trucks and city workers. I did not sleep at all. We reported it before 8 a.m. the next morning and were assured that by noon they would have us moved to a quieter room with the same amenities. We were told "several others have reported that that was a noisy room" […] so they weren't surprised. When we returned at noon, nothing had been done and we played 'the waiting game'. Some others wanting to change rooms were put ahead of us. Finally, they sent us to 1, 2, then 3 different rooms which were up to the 5th, and 2nd floors, clear at the end of the building, and NONE of them had a bathtub or refrigerator, the amenities we requested two weeks before coming to Savannah. We finally gave up and took one of the inadequate rooms which was so small, and stark. It was close the middle of the afternoon by the time we got moved so we lost most of the day. "will not stay at a Four Seasons again"
The condition and comfort of the first room I was assigned was good. When I returned neither of my keys would work to the door. I could hear someone in the room. I returned to the front desk and my ticket had not been closed so the next person booked was booked to my room. I was very upset about this and thankful that I had not put my belongings in […] the room yet. Very big security breach for me. The only room in a king bed-with tub that was left was one next to the ice machne. They offered to move me but I didn't want to unpack, pack, and unpack for my 3 day stay. The following morinings a reuinion was onsite and used the ice machine from 6AM on to fill ice chest. The hotel comped my valet parking but couldn't do much else since I went through hotels.com. The last day I left the note on the bed to change the sheets because we had been to the beach and had a problem getting the sand from our hair. They didn't even come to our room to service at all. Worked with the towels and sheets we had. When I told my daughter about where we were staying she said "oh no, I will never stay there again". Little did I know at the time. Thanks for asking my experience so that others may be luckier. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel room was tiny. Shower had hair in it and the glass was extremely water stained and foggy. Because room was so small, bed was positioned on the wall to the hallway. It was very noisy with people walking around and slamming doors. Room maids were TERRIBLE. We had left the come back later sign on the door and house keeping had knocked on the door […] TWICE before 9 am and once after that asking is to get out of bed to sign a paper. I will never return to this hotel. It was extremely over priced for service, cleanliness, and room size. Plus parking was valet only and was not included. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
for starters the room was the smallest size I ever been in , closet door was broken, had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot 1st time ever ! maid service just ok , had to pay for in house breakfast buffet and they call them a 4star hotel......I dont think so and I would never stay there again sorry ................................Genuine Expedia guest review
Asked for a quiet room on booking 2 weeks in advance, was given the room adjacent to the fire exit which was used all night by the drunken wedding guests stationed across from us. I had called to ask specifically for ANY quiet room saying we were travelling with my elderly parents and our infant, I guess calling and booking ahead really means nothing. […] After being kept up all night by these neighbors and walking a semi-naked, drunk man back to the front desk who kept banging on our door, we were given free breakfast. A comp'd room would have been more accomodating considering the loss of a nights rest (and truly, isn't that what you are paying for?) but at least it was something. "Sheraton 4 Pts, Savannah - nice prop/poor service"
From our arrival, it was obvious things were not running smoothly. Valet could not accomodate the 12-15 cars that arrived so everyone was stacked up at the front door and no one seemed to know what to do. Once inside, the front desk person was efficient however he pointed out that they had run out of key cards so they were issuing Best Western cards. […] The room had an odd window shade that could not be lifted to see outside which was a shame since our room overlooked the pool. The next morning we made coffee in the room only to discover that the cream had gone bad. When my husband went to get complimentary coffee, it was out. He then went to the end of the buffet line to get a cup and was chastised by a hotel waitress. Instead of offering to assist him, she told him in an extremely rude and hostile manner that "he was not allowed to do that". A visit to the front desk by both of us did nothing to improve the situation. A lot of "I'm sorry's" but never any offer to make things better. The entire operation seemed unprofessional and certainly not "service oriented". We recieved our bill on a paper that was streaked with ink as if it had come off a fax. As a business traveler who gets reimbursed for my expenses, I know my company would not have accepted it as an original. I realize this is a small thing but it only served to add to the overall impression that this hotel is not efficiently or professionally run and lacks the quality that one expects from a Sheraton. "Not what we expected"
My wife and I were highly disappointed in this 4 Points Hotel. 1) I requested a quite room (I am a light sleeper). We were given one of the noisiest rooms at the front of the hotel. The road noise continued all night. 2) After returning to the room from supper (on the first night) there was an attempt by someone to enter the room (my wife and I were […] inside) I shouted that the room was already occupied. The person went away. 3) The desk clerk call the room shortly after the person left. She asked what we were doing in the room. I told her we had been given the room earlier when we checked in. 4) The desk clerk said that the "computer system" showed that we had NOT checked in. I told her that her "computer system" was incorrect. 5) The desk clerk called a second time to ask about my Hotel.com reservations. Although she was very polite I got the distinct impression that she thought we were trying to "scam" the hotel. I gave her my confirmation number and she hung up. 6) The next morning I went to the front desk to complaint about the breach of safety and security (giving another person a key to our room) that had transpired the night before. Lots of apologizes by some hotel employees, none from the hotel management. 7) They did relent and give us a much quieter room in the rear of the hotel...where they should have put us in the first place. The title of this review sums up my feelings...Our stay was not what we expected... very big disappointment, This review was written by Andrew P. 11/24/2011 Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Four points Sheraton in Savannah"
The hotel was updated and nice, however the desk staff was rude and UNaccomindating. Our room wasnt even ready when we arrived, we were told we would be called around 2pm! We had driven in the car all night! They were rude at check in and insisted that we booked a single king room when we called for a double since we obviously had 4 people!! The room […] was nice, but very small. Location was great, but after my experience I would never go back. The valet, Michael, was the BEST! Always had our car when he saw us and had all the best places to go. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
