"Dirty and Rude"
When we arrived at the hotel there was not a sign for Preachtree but for a Microtel. We had been traveling for a while and needed to use the restroom so my wife went into the hotel with our daughter while I double checked the address on the GPS. When my wife asked where the restroom were the attendant answered back that restrooms are for guest only. […] Once we realized this was the correct hotel we went to check in only to find that there would be an additional 7% charge for increased utilities. We said we weren't willing to pay and we were told we wouldn't have to this time. Once we entered the room we saw that there was hair everywhere. All over the beds, in the bathroom and all on the floor. How this could be misses by the cleaning person is beyond me. There was also a very foul odor in the room that smelled somewhat like Indian food (heavy curry). We decided not to stay and was refunded our money. The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was adequate but not special by any means. The room smelled a little funny but overall, it was fine. THE HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE. THE ROOMS SMELLED AND THEY WERE NOT CLEAN, THE SMELL OF MILLDEW STAYED IN THE AIR AND THE CARPET WERE WET DUE TO A LEAK WITCH LOOKED TO ME HAS BEEN LEAKING FOR A WHILE. Hotel, nice 2 star hotel. Room Very clean, funtional with micro & fridge, window seat nice touch. Small indoor heated pool & hot tub was clean-luckily nobody else using it.
