"Everything was fine until...."
I saw a roach crawling on the shower curtain while I was taking a shower!!! After a long day of sightseeing all I wanted was to go back to the room, take a shower and go to sleep. Unfortunately I was grossed out in the shower making it hard for me to sleep. We all know the saying right, "where you see one roach there are hundreds more"! "Don't stay here"
Believe it or not the hot tub was too hot to get in. My husband told the lady at the front desk 2 days in a row and when we left on the 3rd day, it was still too hot. The only thing it had going for it was a great seafood restaurant across the street, recommended by the nite clerk. The room had a smell it, I know it was clean it just felt dirty. "Horrible hotel!!!"
This hotel was horrible! While checking in, the attendant told us that we were lucky that our room was clean because they had just laid off most of their housekeepers. Boy, was she wrong. When first walking into the room, the beds were not even made. The sheets had stains on them as well as the couch and the room smelled disgusting. The coffee maker […] was disgusting and the towels in the bathroom were solied. We had to go to the front desk to ask for a remote for our television as there wasn't one in our room. "Won't be returning"
This wasn't the worst hotel that I've stayed in, but it definitely is not one that I'll be returning to. It is an old hotel that has received an attempted renovation. The room was clean, but smelled bad- an industrial cleaning smell. The bathroom was old and the sheet/towels were stained. The breakfast consisted of bagels, brownie muffins, and coffee. "Get what you pay for"
Not bad for the price, but old and in desperate need of updating. The rooms were small and they couldn't fit a roll-out bed that I had requested online. "pretty on the outside, dirty on the inside"
our beds had "someone has been laying on top of the blanket impressions" it was gross. there was hair on the bed, i am sure from house keeping, but yuck! the bathroom was gross. it was stinky. the pool was HOT, i mean like, so hot i had to take a cool shower just to get my temp back to normal. the staff was pretty nice and very helpful, but the hotel […] was just gross. i would not recommend staying here. sorry. Check in was smooth. Overall the hotel was OK. A little less than what I would expect from such a large chain. There were very few items in the vending machines(maybe not their fault). My complaints are as follows. The hotel management called my room at 830 pm to tell me my kids were running and needed to stop. They were not but I didn't argue. I have […] a 3 and 5 year old. Don't know if they expected total silence from them ot what, and at 830, on vacation and the weekend? The other issue was the room overall. Not in bad shape, but smelled funny. So we bought a candle and ran the A/C to freshen it up and move air. About halfway through the night the a/c quit/froze. So I removed the front cover and the blower fan was covered in dust and mold. We had only one towel in the bathroom for 4 people and none at the pool for anyone-when asked the desk clerk we were told he could not get us any because he was not allowed to get them for us. the microwave was not working and we had to rearrange lights to have light where we needed it. "A bit beat up."
An older hotel with halls and rooms in need of an update. Stain on ceiling in our room covered 60%. Must have had water damage from the sprinklers. I just tried not to look up.
