The room was large and comfortable. It was set fairly nice, except getting behind the desk was a squeeze. While the room was very spacious, the bathroom was extremely tight and awkward. "Uncertainty...."
Stay was fine, but hotel did not have any confirmation of our reservation until after midnight and receptionist had to call Hotel.com for our confirmation fax and we waited for around one hour to get the room. "Bugs?"
I had stayed there earlier without any problems. That is why i chose this hotel again. Not again any more. The bathroom knob was broken hence it could not be locked from inside. In addition one of the beds most likely had some bugs as it had some creepy feeling that something is biting you. We were so tired that we did not want to go through the hassle […] of changing the room or even the hotel as I had booked it through Expedia. "Decent Hotel for the Price"
The hotel is clean, in a good location. and has a quality staff. Unfortunately there was an odor of mildew/smoke in the corridor as well as in my non-smoking room. I feel this is probably because there are smoking rooms throughout the hotel making it next to impossible to totally isolate the smoke odor to just the designated rooms. The general cleaness of the Motel appeared to be good, until I noticed the water would not drain from the bathroon sink or tub. This was reported to the desk clerk when I checked out. We stayed here for three nights and were pleased with the overall experience. The neighborhood appeared to be much better than some of the nearby hotels. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent. The only minor inconveniences were that the cable was fuzzy on some channels and the hot tub was being repainted for our entire stay.
