Our reservation was a little bit of a mess, not sure if it was due to miscommunication between hotels.com and hotel or what. But the manager was very... helpful and fixed everything. There were a few times when the desk clerk couldn't answer questions that she should've known, but everything else was fabulous. The restaurant was wonderful and the valet guys were all very patient and helpful. The pool was much smaller than the online photo looked but was ok. by Janet C from Houston on 06/28/11

Not great. The hotel was under construction, the lobby looked terrible and unappealing. The pool was closed for construction but nobody bothered to tell us when we checked in. All vending machines/ice machines on our floor and the adjacent two floors were broken. It took the hotel 3 calls and about 45 minutes to bring some ice up to my room so I could […] ice a sprained ankle. The forced (and expensive!) valet parking was annoying, especially since I didn't know about it beforehand. There was no free internet, even in the lobby, and the rates weren't anywhere in the room. I had booked online for a smoking-room. Even called hotels.com to confirm this. When we arrived we discovered the hotel had smoke free rooms with only designated smoking areas. This was inconvenient. We did not have a microwave and had to call for a refridgerator to be delivered to our room. I will say that every one was super friendly. The staff was […] superb. My only complaint was with our room. I expected more from the Hilton. We didn't even have a fan in the bathroom. The air was turned to "off" when we arrived, so the room was stuffy and not comfortable. I was happy with valet and the convenience of cabs on site. I will not recommend to a friend because I feel for the money a person can get just as nice a hotel with the ammenities expected. Read more
