    Overall pleased with hotel. Room was nice and clean, although we could not adjust temperature and it became stuffy at night. Beds were comfortable. A... little difficult to get in and out of parking lot because of location. We were in town to see a concert and got back to the hotel late at night....the hotel must have been very crowded since the parking lot was quite full and the back of the hotel is not very well lit.     Architecture reminiscent of the 60's and recent renovations make this hotel unique and comfortable. Bathrooms are a little dated, but comfortable. 2-3 blocks northwest is a hospital and nice apartments, 5-6 blocks northeast is a lower income neighborhood. I went on a jog through both and felt comfortable. Located near a Dart transit stop.

    It was a particularly busy night (lots of cheer leaders and football players) to check in and the staff was still very friendly, and helpful. They gave us their undivided attention when checking us in. This was on Thanksgiving night and I am sure that the staff would have liked to have been home with their families, but they were so nice.

    I would suggest that the front desk should give breakfast card to guests once they check-in, so guest know that the breakfast is included for free. What happened to me during my stay, we went down to have breakfast and they charged it. They didn't even tell us or at least ask us what room number we are staying before we grabbed our breakfast?     I had a really nice hotel stay. Within walking distance to the train. Restaurants were a drive away and the view wasn't that nice, but overall I'd stay there again

I like this hotel and would return. Good value. Our room was next to the elevator...some people never learn that other people are sleeping and should shut up when they walk from the elevator […] to their own room! I have learned to always travel with earplugs. This hotel could use refurbishing, a little shabby and dated. Carpets throughout are yucky, as they always are in hotels, and hopefully one day all hotels floors will be tile or wood or some surface that can be cleaned well between each guest. Read more

    I loved the hotel, the staff, and the fitness center. The food at their restaurant was fair, but I am a big snob about food. I love upscale dining. If you are a light sleeper, get a room on an upper floor. I was on the 5th floor and I could hear the train whistle from across the street all night.

    The room was clean but I stayed with my sister in this hotel for the weekend. We were put in a disabled accessible room which was weird. There were a lot of children staying at the hotel for a baseball tournament so the noise level was loud in the halls at times. Overall the stay at the hotels was ok.

    Enjoyed it for the most part. I just do not believe that people who stay at the hotel should have to pay for breakfast Should be included in price of hotel stay. Nor do I agree w/a deposit being put on my debit card. If I get something from the hotel, I will pay cash for it.

    This hotel is within walking distance of the Dallas Market Hall and near major streets and freeways that can take you to all parts of the DFW area. The service is excellent. The facilities are a great value for the price.

    Staff was super courteous, hotel was super clean and decor was updated. If you are looking for a hotel that is located with in walking distance to shopping, dining and so on this is not it. Although they offer shuttle service.

    Hotel staff was very polite, helpful and professional. The only problem was the shower head had no pressure and the carpet was coming loose from the wall by the window. Other than that, everything was fine. Nice pool. Friendly staff.

    We had an overnight for a hospital visit for a relative so the location a few blocks away was perfect. The price for the room was decent but throwing in the free breakfast made it a great deal. Perfect location and price for a trip to the Dallas area. Would stay again for other trips in a minute.

    I chose the "Blind Fair" option from Expedia, so...I probably would not have otherwise chosen to stay in this hotel. However,I was happy with the accomodatons. It was an extremely convenient location. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I didn't like that the curtains didn't close all the way and my room was facing the sun. It's been updated but […] it still has somewhat of an old "feel" to it. When I checked in..the hotel secures the deposit using a credit card. When I checked out, they accidentally charged my credit card a second time. I contacted them and they admitted it was a billing error and were working to correct. just keep that in mind when you're checking in. You'll have to check your credit card statement to be sure as they never called me or sent me a bill of any additional charges. Read more
