My house had a pipe burst so I reserved a room for me and my kids with a double bed everything looked fine until we walked in. the ceiling had water damage and it was getting ready to fall in the bed which was,wet from the water leaking into the room I called the front desk and it took 30 minutes to respond to my request I was then called about an hour […] later and told that the hotel owner was going to contact me. that never happened and they transferred us into 2 different rooms 1 of the rooms smelled like mildew the other ones smelts just like old noodles never again will I ever go to the hotel ever again. "Stay away!!!!"
This was the worst experience in a hotel! We were welcomed to our DIRTY room with rat droppings, shampoo dried in the tub from the last guest and a used syringe with a pack of cigarettes in the cabinet. When I called guest services to report the syringe I was given the run around and finally someone showed up to remove it from my room. The guest service […] associate asked how I found it in my cabinet and why I was looking in the cabinet. No call from management no concern for the safety of others. The rat dropping and dirty room is one thing the syringe is another. This is a major health risk. I am thankful I did not have my children with me at the time. To me this is uncalled for! I understand you cannot control what guest do in the rooms but housekeeping should have caught on to this and if not management should have offered a clean room or apology. We ended up in a smoking room where the smell of smoke was very strong (after getting the confirmation that it was a non-smoking room). The staff who checked us in was AMAZING, she apologized for not being able to provide a non-smoking room, and made the check-in very easy.
