"Room value and beds"
The sleep number beds are a joke. There was a full size blow up matress in our queen size bed leaving a 6" gap On each side of the bed. We had to move to another room. Dead roach in bathroom. We were called down for being too noisy because the a hole next door could hear tv thru pass through door. This is an old property. "Bad service and cleanliness"
Even though it was TX/OU weekend I expected more from this hotel. I called and confirmed the reservation for two rooms of double beds and a late check in. We got there and one of the rooms was a king and they didn't have any other double rooms available. They got us a cot and two breakfast coupons but how would you like to sleep 4 people that way. And […] breakfast coupons do not make up for it. Also our first room for the other room which was double beds was not cleaned, trash everywhere, spills, it was gross. Thankfully they had another room. The quality of the rooms was okay. There were red stains all over the carpet. "Not hot water for three days"
Didn't have hot water for three days. On day one I reported it, they said they'd have it fixed. Day two, when I went down, they said it takes awhile for the system to heat up. "Close to the Dallas Market Gift show"
The hotel checked my brother and me into our room. We were exhausted after a 5-hour drive and attending the show all day. To our surprise, the hotel double booked our room. We were sound a sleep, and the next thing we heard was the door opening to our room. The door was stopped by the latch, but we were both awaken and frightened. We thought we were […] being burglarized. I slammed the door shut and tried to go back to bed. About 35 minutes later the phone rang, and it was the front desk explaining that we somehow were not registered on their computer. They said they were sorry and offered a free breakfast. "not the ideal place to stay"
the "sleep number" bed was broken, one side was hard as a rock while the other was like a deflated balloon. the cleaning crew didn't leave any coffee the second night, or even clean the table the coffee maker was on, and there was no sugar for the coffee. there was no ice maker in the entire wing we stayed in. the air conditioner made noises like it […] was on but the room was not cooled enough even after being on for a full day while we were out. the location wasn't on the best side of town. there is no little fridge in the room thank god we brought our own cooler, we have a baby who drinks milk often. the sink smelled awful when the water was on. all in all i will never stay at this hotel again i was very disappointed and it looks nothing like it looked in the photos. "Ratt-isson!"
The hotel from the highway looks nice, then you get to the lobby and it looks like they're trying. Then as you walk down the hallway to your room it gets dark, dank and smells of cigarettes. Stayed here for NYE. Big mistake. Our room had ants. No hot water for the shower. The room was not very clean either. The beds were the only clean part of the room. Old hotel in a not so great section of Dallas. Parking underground with no elevator or stair access to the main hotel, you have to walk around the entire building to get to the entrance. I woke up on the second morning of my trip with a beetle on me! I immediately called the front desk who sent a Manager on Duty (MOD) to my room to inquire about my concerns. I showed him many beetles that I had killed that morning as well as one that was still walking around. I chose to stay at this hotel due to them allowing pets. My wife and I were in the middle of a big move and we were travelling with animals. The lobby looks great and the staff was very helpful.
