Love Field is Dallas’ secondary airport, handling only domestic flights. Low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines is based at Love Field. Many locals prefer this airport to the international airport because of its central location and smaller size, two factors that make it easier to get in and out quickly. Downtown Dallas is an easy drive from Love Field, as is Texas Stadium and the University of Dallas.see all hotels in Dallas
"Not bad for the buck!"
I actually like this hotel. It was quite and in a private setting.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Okay for one night"
The room was small, but it was do-able for one night. Wasn't very convenient.. there isn't anything close. There were people just standing outside their room BBQing...weird. There was trash all over the outside of the hotel. Like I said if your just staying one night it is okay... I guess. Don't use the hand towels though .. there was hair all in them.. […] and it wasn't mine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
other than the noisy guests on the 2nd floor near our room 211 who created some disturbances after 10:30 p.m. the price point & proximity for our stay.....basically it comes with the territory. I got what I paid for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
You get what you pay for. It seemed really old, I was new to dallas & the front desk worker had no idea of what's near the area. No room service. Cheap toilet paper.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the best for the rate but not the worst."
For the low price I would say that it was ok. NO amenities but fairly clean. Not the best neighborhood. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the air conditioner took 24 hours to cool the room adequately. I can imagine that there were worse places to stay for $40 but maybe a Motel 6 would have been a little better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"This hotel was passable"
I have no major complaints about the hotel. It was extremely convienent to the function I was going to and served well to go back to and crash at the end of the night. It was clean enough and did allow smoking which was a plus for us. There were obviously people living at the hotel and cooking outside of their rooms which was a little uncomfortable, […] but it was quiet and we were able to sleep in which was nice as we had to travel the next day. Because of the rates, I was not expecting anything grand and I was not disappointed. I do not think I would have felt comfortable staying there if I had been traveling alone. "5 days for convention"
The hotel is good and close to convention. on the day of check in, coming from Ca. and all the airplane delays, we where tired, we got our room, and I always check the beds to make sure they are clean, this room hadnt had the sheets changed. They where dirty, went to reception and they came down to make sure we where telling the truth and upon inspection, […] she did notice how dirty they where. They gave us another room, which was alittle bit bigger. We also had to leave a deposit for borrowing the iron. All in all its a good stay at a great price. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The hotel was plain and simple. It was cleaned and maintained. No frills, but for the price you definitely get what you pay for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel in a rough neighbor hood"
The front desk was very very nice, the room was actually very clean and nice. The only problem was a smell almost like a brand-new paint smell as if the room has been refurbished. But after a few seconds the smell went away in the room was nice. I would not recommend it if you have a family that is going to want to walk around. It is a rough neighborhood […] but no one bothered me at all. As a single business guy was just there to get sleep and have a relaxing atmosphere I will stay there again. Really good stay for the priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was undergoing some renovation. My room, however, was clean and neat and next to the office so I would stay here again if I could be assured that I would get the same room or one like it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok for a few hours...basically 1 night"
I just needed a room for a few hours because I had an early flight. I didn't wanna spend alot of money. Basically you get what you pay for. It was only 39.20 and it was pretty clean. Its kinda dark outside of the rooms but I stayed in until I checked out. Overall its not the W but it was decent.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed In the motel after a medical procedure, and needed to go back the following day. It was an older motel but very quiet. We would defiantly stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"OK hotel for 1 night"
We only needed a place to overnight so it was OK. Room was clean, walls were clean, including bathroom, which in budget places like this is often showing mold and stains. The only thing is that the hotel is just off one of the main streets, but coming through an area of car wreckers, etc. and the hotel is downhill from the road, so it does look shady. […] However, being Dallas, I didn't think this looked riskier or safer than any other fancier locations nearby. And yes it did look like there were some negotiable affections going on. "Good deal for the price"
I stayed at this hotel one night because the place where I usually stay was booked due to a convention. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was clean and the hotel staff was accomodating. My only issue was the bathtub was in a horrible state and in need of replacement. I did not notice it until it was very late, so I did not call the management. "close to freeway"
other than a man shouting profanities outside around midnight (which lasted thankfully no more than 15min or so), the stay itself was uneventful. accommodations were acceptable and room was clean. check out and check in were both easy and fast, hotel is located right near freeway which was convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok if you just need a place to sleep."
There is no clock or tissues in the room. The bed was comfortable. The bathtub was raised up, making it only about a foot deep and very hard to step out of. Rooms were very small but it is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok for a single night I guess...."
The room was very old fashioned. There were burn marks in the bed & on the sheets although it was a "non smoking" room. There was a single microwave in the front of the hotel by the office which was quite inconvenient considering that the room was in the back of the hotel. But for a single nights stay, it was ok. I won't be going back though.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for the price"
I needed a hotel close to the medical center for one night before a surgery I was having. The woman at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. There were large trash bins outside with carpeting in them and rooms boarded off which was a little concerning. My room was clean and neat. My biggest concerts were lack of lighting in the parking lot […] and the 'neighbors'. My room was next to someone who must stay there long term and thought that everyone staying in the hotel would enjoy his acoustic guitar and sing along session until 2 am. All in all worth it for the $$ Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"It is a Two Star Inn"
This was definitely a two star Inn. It had a good location for my workshop--close to downtown--and the price was the lowest around, but you get what you pay for. The condition of the room was quite shabby and rough around the edges, but the pillows and bed were comfy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Inexpensive and Close to I-35"
Hotel is good if an inexpensive option is needed. Location is close to Love Field Airport, I-35, & Mockingbird Lane. Fast food options are close by (but not walking distance.) "Got what I needed."
Location & rate - great! Room okay. TV & movie service needs improvement. Tried to view pay per view movie, but could not get it to work. "Knights Inn Dallas - not very clean"
This wasn't a very clean motel. There were holes in the bedspread - they looked like cigarette burns even though this was a non-smoking room. The bathroom, especially the bathtub needed a good cleaning. The wi-fi was terrible. We would get connected but then it was extremely slow, then we would get disconnected. This happened the whole time we were […] there. A couple good things about the motel - it was quiet and the towels looked new. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quiet and Low Price Hotel Near Love Field"
Went to Dallas for an interview with LUV and needed a cheap place to crash for one night that was near Dallas Love Field. I actually walked from Love Field to the hotel, which is about 2 miles....I did it at night since my flight arrived at 9pm. I'm cheap and didn't want to pay for a cab...I wouldn't recommend it if you're not the walking type or are […] scared to be out walking at night, as there are only dirt sidewalks or no sidewalks at all along Mockingbird. The hotel is in an industrial business park area across from a golf course on Empire Central and Prudential Ave. There's easy access to bus Route 526 that takes you down to the DART station, where you then catch Bus 39 to Love Field's terminals (I learned of this on my way back to the airport, as I didn't want to walk back..so just reverse this route if you need a ride to the hotel from Love Field). There's a Sonic and McD's just down the street from the hotel if you want to grab a bite to eat. The hotel is quiet, had easy check in and check out, and the front desk staff was nice and hospitable. The room was small and simple, decent lighting and clean, but hey, if all you need is a bed to crash in, what else do you need? They provide you with two bars of soap, and clean towels (at least mine were new and clean). The shower had hot water and strong water pressure. The TV had a decent selection of channels..no flatscreen TV, if you need to know, they have the large old school box TV's...but again, who cares?? Tthey did have about 4 ESPN channels, which makes it awesome for a guy. They have ice, snack, and soda machines inside the lobby, and they have OJ, apple juice, and coffee for guests. I didn't see breakfast being provided..but again, you can't expect such things when you pick a cheap place to stay in. It is what it is. I didn't have a problem...there were some rough types that stayed there...one guy was outside my door smoking a cig and talking loud on his phone with a sick pack of beer, but he moved out o Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Knights Inn Dallas-Love Field"
This hotel is in a sort of desolate area of Dallas, but it is very close (7 miles) to downtown and to the clubs along 35E. My friend and I stay here when we are in Dallas to go clubing, and since we don't spend much time in the hotel, it works perfectly for us. The rates are consistently the lowest in the area, but keep in mind that low rates this close […] to downtown mean you're making some concessions for that proximity. Overall, you get what you pay for, and this hotel was exactly what I wanted: a place to sleep and recover from the night before without spending much money. The staff have never been anything but friendly and accomodating, and I will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very nice and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a musty, moldy smell. We have stayed here several times and never had this problem in other rooms. It's an ok place for 1 night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Knights Inn Dallas not good if allergic"
Not happy about the smell of the rooms after I changed twice; they have strong pungent odor similar to wet mold. No iron or ironing board or closet, just a small space to hang your clothes. Small restroom with sink outside so you're not able to shave or wash unless you're clothed if others are in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Knights Hotel in Irving, TX"
My room was rather clean and the bed comfy. For the price I would stay again. The staff was polite and accomandating and helpful. Its location was near I35E which is near a better part of the city. Some minor things not worth mentioning. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
