"Did not get correct room"
Paid for 2 queen suite, got to hotel and learned they did not have that room for me because they were so crowded. They had a king suite for me and our room was for 5 people. Are you kidding me! I was very unhappy with the fact that I specifically requested for two beds in the bedroom area and was forced to deal with only one. The people at the front desk assumed it was ok because of the pull out couch, which it was not because that bed was extremely uncomfortable. "Didn't want to go home!"

The room was nice and spacious. The staff was courteous and accommodating. Only complaint is we booked a suite with 2 beds and upon arrival they only had king bed suites available. "Broken Air Conditioner"
The hotel's air conditioner was broken. Front desk clerks kept saying it was due to the front doors being open constantly however, we overheard the maintenance man and manager saying the A/C was not fixed and they would have to pay overtime to get an A/C company to fix it. Maintenance suggested fans but manager thought that would not look professional. […] Too hot to go down to lobby or lounge area. The whirlpool was dirty and needed to be cleaned. "Great location and employees"
First off, Tamara at the front desk started our weekend off on a great note by being one of the friendliest and fun front desk employees I have encountered anywhere. Great location, very central to everything. Hotel is very comfortable, clean and up-to-date! They even offer a new service where you can choose to not have your room cleaned (saving resources) […] and they will give you SPC points or a voucher for $5. As an avid recycler and conservation nut I took advantage of this offer but the reward never materialized. "Horrible Service"
When we got to the hotel it took us 45 minutes to check in because the front desk help's computer froze. They put us in a room with no view or balcony. Then I called for extra towels and they never showed up. "Horrible conditions"
I put my niece and a friend into this hotel for a long weekend. Checked in to room, very bad smell, toilet didn't work, bed sagged like a hammock. AC very noisy. Asked to be moved thru Hotels.com, they handled it very well. Moved to better room, however it was on 7th floor. This place only has 2 elevators and 1 was out of service all weekend, 2 weddings […] at hotel so it was very busy. 2nd elevator was not working, inside door opened, outer door didn't, got off when door finally opened on 8th floor and walked down to our floor. For the cost of this hotel I was very disappointed, I thought the Sheraton name was a much higher standard brand name. Will not book future guests to Dallas at this place. "Toothpaste on the comforter"
Found crusted toothpaste on our white comforter the first night. It also took 3 requests to the front desk to have an extra blanket for the couch sleeper sent up. The cost of the food was outrageous, $13 for a stack of pancakes. Internet service in the visitor center is not free, only 45min included with your stay. Also was charged to park. I have stayed in this hotel three times. Each time, I have had a wonderful experience. It is a very nice hotel, newly renovated, and the rooms are very big. The beds are fabulous! My only complaint is about the front desk staff. They were very unfriendly and impersonal. Location is only a short ride away from downtown but otherwise not a fantastic location. Rooms are great - really clean , spacious, massive bed.
