"Elegante? Maybe once upon a time."
First the Location of the Hotel is nice, easy access to the Freeways, many restaurants on the same road and yes even a Starbucks across the street. The employees were really friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. I have never cared for hotel buffets but like i said this one was pretty good. Now the bad, uhm the rooms […] haven't really been updated in , well never, some new carpet and wallpaper would go a long way. Beds are soft though and over all nice stay. "Clean hotel"
The MCM Elegante was very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean as well. The breakfast buffet had lots of options. The hotel staff at the front desk was often less than helpful but usually nice. I knew little about the hotel before booking the room, but it was in the area I was looking for and offered a great price. Room was clean and had the basics, which is all I needed. The giant eagle statue in the lobby is slightly disturbing, but not as disturbing as the giant 10 Commandments statue outside the front entrance. "Weed anyone?"
Room was fine. Food was fine. Elevators were broken. Where was hotel security/mgmt? There was more weed being sold and smoked in this hotel than at a Marley family reunion!! Totally uncomfortable. "Not 4 Stars!"
The hotel was satisfactory but needs to be maintained better. The walls were filthy. Where some damage had occurred to one of the walls a half-"hearted" repair was done but the repair was clearly visible. The shower curtain was torn. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked.
