Stayed in the studio room for only 2 nights, which has two double beds. The hotel does not pretend to be a high-end beach resort. The room is a bit small. The wall is pretty thin as you can also hear the conversation from the people in the next room. Wi-fi connection is free of charge. The hotel is at a good location as the beach literally is less than a minute walk away. Free use of beach chair and bike is offered. Free parking with designated lot for each room. The rate is inexpensive comparing to other hotels in that area. The owner, Luis, is very hospitable making you feel like at home. I probably would stay there again if I travel to that area again. "Close to beach, kitchenette, nice little place"
This felt like a nice little studio apartment by the beach. Very well run and friendly hotel staff. We needed to cancel our last night at the last minute and the staff was very supportive and we were able to be reimbursed. Unfortunately during our stay there were loud people using the courtyard areas and we had trouble sleeping, but it was a holiday […] weekend so I guess we just chose the wrong venue for our 3 day stint in Hollywood! "A very accomodating and friendly experience."
The owner, Luis, is very gracious. We arrived very late, 1:00 after midnight and he was right there waiting for us with a couple of bottles of water. Our cruise didn't embark until after checkout time. Luis let us check out later and even called a taxi to take us to Port Everglades. The room is very small but very neat and clean. Very close to the beach. Perfect for the college student on spring break, but not very practical for an older married couple. I was a little shocked when we arrived at the hotel which had received such glowing reviews. Yes, the host was absolutely wonderful, but I doubt that the room has been renovated since the 1960's. "Good Location with VERY THIN walls"
This hotel is located a half-block from the beach with a view of the street or other hotel. It's a 1-level tiny humbling "villa"/motel. I just stayed in a studio with full kitchen, however it was really small (like an effeciency unit) and the walls are REALLY, REALLY, REALLY thin! Luis is the highlight of any stay at Villa Europa. He is very accomadating and available. The hotel rooms are simple and stark. There are nice outside tables in two pods to sit and a BBQ in each pod, however these can also be noisy. Die Appartements im Villa Europa Hotel sind relativ dunkel und bräuchten unserer Ansicht nach z.T. eine Renovierung, insbesondere die Küche. Die Herdplatten (Spiralen) waren zum Teil defekt (gebrochen) und die Dunst- abzugsgaube rostig. Daüber hinaus war das Badezimmer in unserem Appartement sehr klein und ohne Fenster, wenngleich sauber.
