This hotel is good only if free shuttle service from FLL airport and cruiseport is used. Breakfast was good and service folks were good. The hotel cleanliness was terrible. The lock on our door was not safe and we were on the ground floor and we asked for a different room and of course none was available. We picked this hotel because it was close to the airport for an early check-in and unfortunately the airport shuttle only runs every hour which meant we had to leave even earlier so […] we were at the airport two hours earlier than we needed to be. CHECK IN WAS AT 3:00PM - WE ARRIVED AT 4:00PM AND THE LOBBY WAS FULL OF PEOPLE WAITING TO GET THEIR ROOMS! OUR ROOMS (THERE WAS A GROUP OF 6 WITH 3 ROOMS TOTAL) WERE NOT READY UNTIL ABOUT 5:15PM! When we arrived two women were at front desk one was busy the other one didn't acknowledge us. Rude staff. The room was dirty and dated. The only nice thing about this hotel is the location, next to restaurants and shops. I would not stay there again.

Arrived to find about 50 people inside and outside of the office. It was a mad house. It is a stopping place for cruisers and should be billed as that. The pool area was crowded with people waiting to check in or get on a bus to a cruise ship. You could not find a place to sit. We got to our room, it was old, ragged and worn. The room was very dirty. And we had a place for a refrigerator, but no refrigerator. Stinks very bad in the elevator. Arrived by shuttle, told room was not ready, would be about 45minutes- went for lunch nearby, came back, room still not ready, told 15minutes, told still not ready would be an hour more. Why, no sheets and pillowcases, had to stand at counter so that they could work on getting our room together. Food in morning was TERRIBLE, and the whole complex was […] unkept. When we reached to this hotel, it was like a zoo! So many people were waiting in the lobby either to get out or to get in into the hotel. Check in is at 3pm and we reached early. While the accomadations where more then adequate, I fell in the tub, because the floor of the tub was like a sheet of ice. Very scary. Luckily. I only scraped my elbow. When told of the problem the manager didn't offer any compensation. Would not ever stay here again or recomend it to anyone.

Called for shuttle from cruise port to hotel 3 times. After waiting over an hour we took a cab. Staff gave room key and when entered it was not clean. I booked a room with this hotel around june or july for one night in november. some friends of mine were also staying there and were at the hotel waiting for a room before I was. Check in is at three and at 7 that evening they still did not have a room available for myself or my friends. They refused to give me any kind of a credit or refund because […] I had booked and paid for my room in full in advance. All they were willing to do was offer us one free drink, which were horrible. I had asked to speak with the manager and she would not come out and speak to me. I called the customer service center to get my money back and file a complaint and I have yet to speak with anyone who wants to make this right and give me my money back. We called hotel to get shuttle at the pier and waited nearly 90 minutes for it to arrive even though we called them 3 or 4 times. Then upon arriving at hotel, was informed room would not be ready for 2 hours. When we were finally able to check-in we asked to have our luggage sent up to our room. After 20 minutes I called from desk and the person I talked […] to said she didn't know we wanted our luggage and would arrange to have it sent up. In the morning I went into breakfast room and asked attendant if I could have juice and toast as I have medical condition and needed something to eat. Juice, toast, rolls and cereal were all set out. She informed me that breakfast wasn't open until 6:00 a.m. It was 5:55 and I told her our shuttle to airport was at 6:00 a.m. She again said breakfast was not until 6:00 and walked away. What a disappointment! We stayed here one night, prior to a cruise. This run down property has no redeeming features except for a comfortable bed. Our room had loose hardware on the door, poor sink/shower drainage, burned out light bulbs and was NOT clean (we found someone's food in the microwave! I had booked a non smoking room - When I arrived none were available. The room smelled of smoke and my clothes smelled of smoke when I left. Even the bed pillows smelled of smoke. Most parts of he hotel (rooms, elevators, walkways and lobby need upgrading and repair. When I checked in the desk clerk insisted on a $ 2.00 "safe fee". My son and I needed a place to stay the night before our cruise. I stayed at a wonderful Comfort Inn a few years ago and thought I had made a reservation at that same hotel. The hotel van picked us up promptly at the airport. But as soon as the van pulled in to the hotel, I realized my mistake. This was NOT the clean, spacious Comfort Inn that I stayed […] at last time. This place looked old and poorly maintained. The words "El Cheapo" come to mind! Check-in was easy. Getting to the room was somewhat cumbersome as we had to exit the back of the lobby, then figure out, without any helpful signs, which way to walk around the pool to get to the rooms. (After you've done it once, you realize you could have gone either way, but when you're standing there for the first time, it is very confusing.) The room was fairly clean, but it just looked old and the decor was dated. I was clearly unhappy because my son kept saying, "It's just for one night." We slept fine. The next morning we went down for the breakfast that was included in the price of the room and found mass chaos. The food is not set up in a way that encourages smooth movement through the room. Instead, the breads and the coffee are all set up in one corner so that everyone is trying to push towards that one corner simultaneously. The food was mediocre, at best. The selection featured tiny, chewy bagels and pathetic donuts that were dry and tasteless. Avoid, unless CHEAP is your only concern! Read more
