Hotel Features.
The lobby and gathering areas feature dramatic décor: over-sized white chaise longues, high-backed chairs, deep sofas, and glass cocktail tables. In addition to offering 24-hour room service, the Viceroy is home to the French-California cuisine of Whist restaurant. What's more, the boldly designed Cameo Bar entertains guests with private outdoor dining cabanas surrounding 2 outdoor pools - a prime location for celebrity watching.
When not watching for stars, you can work out in the hotel's 24-hour fitness center, which is stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment. After your workout, you can relax with massages or in-room beauty and spa services. Need to stay connected? Wired and wireless Internet access is available in public areas for an additional fee. An onsite library with computers is available as well.
Additional perks include sparkling wine upon arrival, as well as a 10% discount at the restaurant. In the mornings, you can enjoy a selection of coffees, teas, and homemade pastries.
Guestrooms.
The Viceroy's 162 guestrooms feature flat-screen TVs, CD and DVD players, Italian designer linens and bathrobes, down comforters and pillows, fully-stocked minibars, wired and wireless Internet access for a surcharge, and ocean or pool views. Marble bathrooms come complete with separate vanities, pedestal sinks, and upscale complimentary English toiletries. Berber carpets, yellow vinyl benches, and green silk chairs make the Viceroy's rooms more than just the typical beach hotel rooms. Rooms also include blackout drapes/curtains, climate control, desks, electronic/magnetic keys, iPod® docking stations, and windows that open. Daily housekeeping, complimentary newspapers, wake-up calls, and rollaway beds are available on request.

Whist - This lobby-level restaurant features padded gray banquettes, bright green chairs, tables set with white linens, and a wall display of 5 crockery shelves. Outdoor dining is available. Open for breakfast everyday, lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner Monday through Saturday.
Cameo Bar - This mirrored-ceiling lobby bar is furnished with eclectic seating arrangements: large white chaise lounges, high-backed chairs, low padded benches, glass cocktail tables, and a marble bar. Cocktails and lighter fare are also available in outdoor dining cabanas. Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4-6 PM.
All guests can enjoy a 10% discount at Whist Restaurant, welcome sparkling wine upon arrival, and a morning selection of coffees, teas, and homemade pastries.
One block from Santa Monica Beach, and 1 mile from Venice Beach, this hotel provides numerous recreational opportunities offered by these Southern California beaches.
Other recreational activities can be enjoyed on site thanks to 2 outdoor swimming pools, and a 24-hour fitness center with fitness classes, free weights, and the latest cardio equipment. Furthermore, a variety of seasonal entertainment programs and seasonal pool offerings are available on site (as programmed or subject to availability).

"a little tired"
have been dying to stay here for years, but maybe i waited too long. the room was a little tired and there were a few broken/worn handles, bathroom door didn't close all the way, etc. kind of a bummer, especially for the price... also, it was cold out when we were there so they tented the whole outdoor area, really disappointing since i was really looking […] forward to the pool-side fabulousness... i'd definitely go back, but only in hot weather and with a really good deal on the room. The Viceroy is an amazing experience. Comfy but hip and modern. The entire staff was friendly. I also had a special request and they took care of it immediately with attention to detail. The staff was very corteous and professional. However, we had the AC that did not cool off as it should've. "Full of hidden charges"
Don't bother staying at the Viceroy it is full of hidden charges and fee's you are much better off going across the road to Loew's. My stay was riddled with hidden fee's and charges including a ridiculous fee per night for having basic amenities such as soap. There are also hotel taxes etc....which are huge. The Viceroy doesn't have beach frontage where […] as Loew's does. If you want to get ripped off the Viceroy is definately the hotel for you. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Exceeded all expectations and customer service not like any I've experienced in a hotel. The moment we walked in, we felt like celebrities. Upon checking in, reception offered us a glass of champagne each. As for location, it is about a 10-15 minute walk from Santa Monica Pier and around the main shopping/restuarants. "年末のサンタモニカ滞在"

"Avaliação dos dias em que fiquei no Hotel"
Ao pesquisar o hotel no site, verifiquei que seria um hotel luxuoso, com grandes mordomias. Porém ao chegar lá, verifiquei que os quartos não eram tão grandes e as camas tb. Caso pense em ter sussego, este hotel tb não é o ideal em virtude das festas na piscina que ocorrem a noite. O ar condicionado não funcionava bem. O valor diário do estacionamento […] é caríssimo, 40 dolares ao dia. Além disso, o atendimento não é cordial, muitas formalidades! Para ficar a vontade nas férias o hotel não condiz! Inclusive por ser tudo tão caro, ficamos com medo até de usar qualquer coisa do hotel pois poderia ser cobrado na saída! A cidade inteira de Santa Mônica tem internet (Wi-Fi) grátis, apenas no hotel era cobrado! Um absurdo! Não conseguiamos nem conectar a internet da Rua, deviam ter um bloqueador para obrigar os hospedes a pagar pela internet deles. Em fim...
