"Charming site"
This B&B is located on a charming site along the river, very pretty. Breakfast was excellent. The two negatives were a sloping ceiling in the bathroom which repeatedly attacked my head (I'm 5'10"), and a window air conditioner whose air direction could not be controlled, making for a breezy night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Red room was nice"
The house had all the quaintness you would hope for in a Vermont B&B. We chose the red Chinese-decorated room and found it lovely. As a previous review mentioned, there is no TV and no telephone. The Wi-Fi worked great. During the initial tour, we asked about the on-site restaurant, and the owner mentioned it had been voted the second best restaurant […] in Vermont and left us a menu. The menu options looked fantastic, but the prices were more than we wanted to spend. When we returned from dinner elsewhere, the owner seemed a lot less friendly. We felt we'd somehow missed something, offended her and the expectation is that if you stay there - you eat there.
