The Carson City Plaza Hotel and Conference Center provided just what my friends and I needed; a clean, comfortable room and free parking. The check-in was efficient and included an invitation to a free community event (and hors d'oeuvres) being held in one of their conference rooms. We attended and were glad we did. My only complaints have to do with the bedding: the sheets were old, small holes were visible, and the mattress pad did not fit well across the bed making it lumpy to sleep on. Because the room style was not available upon arrival, I was unexpectedly and delightfully provided an upgrade to a suite. My room was very clean, comfortable, and provided an excellent assortment of amenities, including a kitchenette, multiple televisions, and several seating options. The hotel property was well maintained, and the front desk staff were outstanding: professional, friendly, and very helpful. Access is good, check in/out quick and efficient, and parking easy. The location is downtown, and although it is surrounded by an area that is less than aesthetically pleasing, I felt secure and was able to access an assortment of nearby restaurants and other services. The hotel is very close to all major state government offices, including the capital and legislative buildings. All in all, an excellent stay at a superior hotel facility. We got such a good rate on the room, that I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk help was very nice and friendly. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast room was large and had plenty of seating. There was not a large variety for breakfast but it was okay.

We were not able to get wifi in our rooms. If you sat near elevators it was a strong signal.(i was wondering what the chair by the elevator was for!) Very clean room and helpful staff. Nice location and fair price.

Its good for one night sleep. It hasn't any luxury but its a very good deal if you only need a warm bed a take a shower before sleep.

If you are a patient of Dr Shallenberger, this is a very frequented hotel for his pt's! CALL them! Continental breakfast is a bit simple, but they have one at least!

I stayed in this hotel for about a week and it's great! They had waffles and English muffins for breakfast.. Small breakfast but still tastey. The employees there were nice and hardworking (always excited to see me at breakfast) the neighborhood was awesome over all I am a satisfied customer:)

It's an older hotel but it is in a good central location for business and sight seeing. The room was large and clean with a full sized fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The staff were mostly friendly and talkative and the free breakfast wasn't the most well stocked but it is free and had enough choices for that price. Wow I realy enjoy this hotel the room was great it was clean, big, and quiet . We have stayed at three different hotels in Carson City, and this one was our favorite of the three. It had high ceilings and an open feel to the room, not cramped like in some other places. For those looking for shiny new amenities, this will not be your favorite destination, but for those that want comfortable clean rooms but can handle no flat panel tv, (old tube monster in my room) this is the place. This is a solid no frills motel. The room was large with a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean without any trace of mold. Excellent shower. The room was a very good value. No complaints. A lot of rooms are of the same quality for a lot more money. I have stayed here twice with no regrets.

Hotel was very conveniently located near the highway. There is a brilliant grill/bar Red's literally round the corner from the hotel and it is brilliant food and atmosphere! Room in the hotel was spacious and clean. There are only couple of small complaints we had: the mattress is made from a slippery material which meant that the bed sheet slipped […] off during the night and we ended up sleeping and waking up on the unprotected mattress. NICE HOTEL.. but they did not give us, two guests, a missing towel..the room only had one hand towel for two guests..we had two bath towels. the desk lady said she had no time to bring us another hand towel..otherwise the room was nice and comfortable, workers were friendly..at breakfast the fire alarm went off, extremely loud, and they did not know […] how to turn off the fire alarm until the fire dept. arrived. only loud for about 8 minutes. in the shower the bath tub was broken ,OR, the floor of the tub was cracked as when you stepped on the tub to take a shower, it made a loud cracking noise... It was nice to have a small refrigerator and a small microwave in the room.. the ice machine on our floor, 3 rd, malfunctioned and ice went all over the floor as we arrived on our floor, it was quite a messy sight..desk person said it happened also the night before we arrived.. not a big problem for us..all hotels should give one sheet of paper to guests , showing location of local hospital, three parks, a local library, directions to LAKE TAHOE , AND OTHER VERY BASIC INFO..FOR GUESTS..
