Days Inn Santa Maria CA

We had a great stay at Days Inn in Santa Maria. From the outside the building is nothing to write home about, but inside surprisingly elegant. Our room was clean and modern and it was perfectly situated a couple of blocks from the freeway for our wine tasting adventure. The city of Santa Maria is well, unexciting and somewhat dead, but there were plenty […] of places to drive to for a great getaway exeperience. I would recommend staying there if you're on a budget. We stood for 2 nights. the Hotel service was great, very friendly staff. Room was very clean, although the bed was rather very uncomfortable, the mattress was a little hard therefore made it hard to sleep and both my husband n i woke up with sore backs. The continental breakfast was great! I loved the muffins and fruit! the location was great, right […] next to the freeway. As for the surrounding neighborhood, when you pull up at night it is a little sketchy. But overall our stay was very nice. Read more

Stayed here 2 nights, was the best price for a hotel in any of the areas around. This hotel was just remolded and you could tell everything was new. Good room size, very comfortable bed. Was surprised to see a microwave and a bigger than usual hotel fridge. There's a Vons right next door. Only spoke to the front desk when we checked in and out, but […] she was very nice. The hotel is right off the 101 which was great since we came and went to Solvang, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo a couple times. The drive was not too far. Would definitely stay here again.
