"affordable and average quality"
This is my second stay in econolodge. the first stay was better due to the location of the room. The second floor room was better than the first floor (the recent stay). The room is not too big but there is refrigerator and microwave which is very useful for longer stays. This hotel was very close to the Hilton convention center where I was attending a conference. The hotel was much better than I expected. It was clean and there was no disturbing noise at night. "Pleasantly surprised w/ first Econo-Lodge stay"
This was my first stay at an Econo-Lodge and I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and clean and, espeically with a fridge and microwave, a good value for the money. The free breakfast was a little paltry compared to some other chains but still not bad. And while the TV was not HD, it was a decent size and came with a good complement […] of channels. Other than the nice condition and cleanliness of the room, the best surprise was probably the wireless. I was at the far back end of the hotel, as far from the office as you could get and expected a marginal or non-existent wireless signal, as many other hotels offer free wireless but then you find it only works well in the lobby or near the front desk. My wireless signal was a strong 3 or 4 bars and did not give me any issues during my hour or so of use. In short, I would definitely use this location for future visits, and would very probably try another Econo-Lodge if there was one where I was travelling in the future.
