This hotel was THE worst Hampton Inn ever! I have stayed at many Hampton's and was not worried, but this one was by far just horrible. We asked for towels multiple times before we actually got them, never received the extra set of sheets we requested, and the bathroom by the pool was disgusting! It smelled of urine (as did the stairwells) and there […] was vomit in the toilet that would not flush. There were not any paper towels in there either. There was a bag on clothes on the floor that were never picked up in our two days there. This tells me that a cleaning person had never even walked in there.....or just didn't care! The fitness center was dirty too! There were straws and wrappers on the floor that were there the previous day, so I know that a cleaning person had not been in there. There were not any wipes in there to wipe down equipment and there was black tape on the handles of the elliptical. Also, the breakfast tables were not cleaned off and the breakfast was less than desirable. Very basic, the toaster didn't work and the microwave was dirty. When we returned to our room by mid afternoon, it was cleaned.....only the dirty towels removed. I was asked by a cleaning person if I needed anything for my room! Really? Yes! EVERYTHING! Please find another hotel. We could not find the hotel and the agent at the desk could not give us directions. Thank God we saw a policman and he gave us directions. Friends normally stay at Hampton Hotels. Were visiting these friends. The temputure outside was 98 degrees. The air condition in the room did not work. I informed the desk clerk on the first day of my stay. (I booked the hotel for 2 days. The repairman came and changed the filter and stated the air was fixed. It was not. Since I had booked the hotel […] for 2 days I stayed the next day in the most humid tempature that I had ever experienced. I was miserable. I Informed staff the next morning, but was told that because I was near the pool, this was why it was hot. Also, the main reason I stayed at this chain of hotels is due to the breakfast. The women that served the buffet breakfast never replinished the breakfast items after the food bar was empty. Coffee, fruit, and meat were never replinished after 8:30 even though the bar was open until 10:00 am. The women stood in the doorway of the kitchen without bringing any food or coffee out to the bar. Customers were complaining, but they were chatting with each other trying to pass the time. At 9:30, they informed us and a line of about 30 other customers that they were not going to brink any more food out to the bar. At 9:50 they come out and announced that they did not have to throw away any food today. I guess not because they did not stock the bar. I was so dissapointed with the services, that I left the hotel, and booked another room at another hotel with great customer service such as cold air, great breakfast, and desk clerk with great hospitality. I forgot to mention that the desk clerk was very rude when I walked into the hotel, I asked for a refrigerator and microwave, he informed me that they were out, and failed to inform me that I could get on a list to receive them.
