Was exactly what I expected. Spartin accommodations which was just enough to sleep, shower, only a few mins from gas lamp. It is directly under the landing pattern for the airport so don't expect to sleep in as at traffic usually starts around 730am and goes intermitantly till midnight.

The location is good for the price you pay. I was simply looking for a good rate for a room in downtown where I could get around by walking to gaslamp and surrounding areas. The rooms are small and the amenities are simple such as breakfast, but overall what I expected.

Overall pretty good. But you have to park on the street and many times in parking meter spots. So have lots of quarters, for the meters. Next wifi didnt work to well in some areas of the inn, so check your room before you get unpacked. I had to move to another room for good wifi service.

Convenient especially if you like to walk. Also comfortable and quieter than downtown. Only drawback was that they do not have parking, only street parking in the surrounding areas.

Overall ABVI was a decent stay for the price giving and convenience of hotel location. ABVI was located in downtown San Diego which made it very convenient because there was so much to do close by including the san diego zoo. Room size was a little small but eh' I could live with it for a few days.

Location, location, location! That's what this inexpensive hotel has to offer along with good service! Yes, the rooms are small and, yes,the street parking makes it more difficult, BUT everything else is great so enjoy your stay because you are saving lots of money.... which you can use at the many good restaurants in walking distance!

Stayed at this hotel for an extended holiday weekend. Location was convenient, literally blocks from Downtown/Gaslamp District. My only complaint -my girlfriends rather, is that they do not provide hair conditioner -apprently very important to most women ;) Overall, a great value for the location. I will stay here again when I revisit San Diego.

While we realized we would not be staying at a nice place the room size was tiny and there weren't any options for two beds. They did not even have a cot to bring up. And if they had, we would not have had space to put it anywhere. Our third person literally had to sleep on the floor in the closet.

Okay this hotel is good to stay if your only using the room to sleep. The room was so tiny I could turn the sink on from the bed. Every room is completely different. My room didn't not have a standard bathroom. It was a toilet and shower, then on the outside of room was the sink. I didn't have a closet to put luggage and the space provided for my luggage […] was a small corner space right next to the door entrance. Dresser space...lol forget about it! The view I had was of a wall. And the reason the room was so small is because they tried their best to fill up the space with tables that weren't needded. And dosen't every hotel have a Bible?...this one didn't. Plus there was no microwave as stated, so I had to use my the one in my friends room. This room really only accommadates one person. I found this to be the best economical non-beach hotel near the Gaslamp Quarter. Very friendly staff. The room was comfortable, refrigerator was cold, and TV was crystal clear. If I stayed in the Gaslamp area again, this is the only hotel I would choose.

You get your moneys worth is what i can mostly say about this place. It is a cheap place to stay the night but I would not say it is a great place to stay at. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to the Gaslamp Quarter. Hotel had not parking but street parking was available. Planes fly over during the day but night time it's much quieter.

If want an affordable hotel with not too much service. Is it perfect Hotelet in San Diego. One problem may be that find it difficult to sleep because hotelt located on the approach to the airport. It is a relatively quiet area before it and is felt quite safe. Sure there are the homeless off the street. It can not find any hotel throughout downtown […] who have not. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to Broadway. There are buses that run on street location is quite ok. It was clean on the hotel rooms and the staff were helpful. Although it would be new renovated so it is felt that a little old. Breakfast is served in a pretty small room about 7 tables. It works to eat in a few days but then became quite tired of it. If not like Danish bread winner. My final opinion is the perfect hotel to go but friends to see San Diego. If you go with your wife or partner would recommend any other hotel because it is far from a romantic hotel.
