    When we first got to the hotel I wished we were staying somewhere else -- some of the people hanging around the hotel seemed to be a bit sketchy. But... the room seemed pretty clean. We were right under the flight path, but surprisingly didn't wake up from any planes. I'm not sure I'd stay here again, but it is incredibly close to the airport (without being too close), if that's what you are looking for. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 27, 2013

    I did not like that you guys did not offer parking and if you did the guy in the front did not mention it to me. It was my first time in San Diego so I did not know many things and when I asked the guy in the front he gave me short annoyed answers.

    The Staff was very friendly.The hotel is in the flight path to the airport.On the second night there were 3 planes that flew over between 5 and 6am.My room was very small.Downtown bars and restaurants are a good 12 block walk.

    The place is close to gas lamp quarter and offers breakfast and free Internet for an unbeatable price. Of course this is not your luxury resort but for a hotel in the middle of San Diego, they do a great price quality balance.
