This hotel turned out to be in a perfect spot for the places we wanted to go. Plus we were right next to the pool and spa and gym, which we all enjoyed. "Great for the money"
No miracles, but simply very smooth stay. I arrived after 11 pm so the hotel shuttle bus was not running (as they stated) - nobody's fault - weather related delay. We has reservations at a hotel next door for the week through a package that we booked, but wanted to head down early so we booked a night here due to the cheap price. The girl who checked us in was extremely nice, but that's about the only good thing. The toilet wouldn't flush in our room and we had to fill the tank each time we wanted to use it (would've […] asked for a different room but my son was already unpacked and playing.) The female waitress at the cafe was horrible, we were her only table until a bunch of police officers came in and you better believe she was giving them great service. The food was just okay. But very expensive! She also didn't give us the discount from the hotel that we got and we swiped my debit card and then the hotel charged my room for the meal as well..when checking out the woman at the front asked how everything was and I explained our concerns and she did not care at all. The front desk agent was not too friendly upon check in. The hotel itself was decent. The rooms were small but clean. Housekeeping did a nice job. The kids enjoyed the heated pool. Overall quite decent. We had 2 double bed room, it was clean and neat. Not too spacious but not to complain much. It is at the bottom of a hill, has some gardenish feel near pool, so overall a decent place. "Nice hotel located in very convenient location"
Hotel is located just in few yards from freeway entrance where you can go anywhere. The grocery stores are located in few minutes drive from the hotel on Washington Street. Very close to Ocean Beach, Seaworld, Qualcomm Stadium, and shopping. A convenient place to stay. The hotel was very clean and comfy. We missed the zoo transfer service in the morning as we just arrived at the airport around 9.30 am. But the hotel and shuttle driver were so flexible and still took us to the zoo after picking up us from the airport and taking us to the hotel for checking.. All services are excellent.
