We were celebrating our anniversary. This location was perfect. Close to Little Italy,which we just discovered on this trip. Love that area. Pretty much close to everything in San Diego. We would stay there again. Staff at front desk so nice and accommodating.

Although the staff was very attentive to our dissatisfaction and tried to accomidate us, I was not happy ! I wanted a room with a view / smoking and got the first floor /non smoking/ we were moved to a 4th floor room with a view of the parking lot!which brings me to my next issue, the slots for the cars to be parked were very narrow and there was constant […] fear are car or the car next to us wopuld get scratched !! and getting out, was very difficult close to imposible without some one there to help !! My husband and I went to San Diego for a getaway weekend and this hotel fit the bill perfectly! Compared to other hotels in the area it was a great deal. Breakfast was included and in addition to the usual continental breakfast fare there was always scrambled eggs and fried potatoes. We had a beautiful view of the bay from our 8th floor room. Only downside to our stay was that they were working on one elevator so that left only one in service and in the mornings the wait could be quite long. We needed a room for a few days near to the Amtrak station, the harbour area, transport links and the city centre. The Best western ticked all the boxes. the room was relatively spacious, bed okay, indeed we got what we expected. All we needed was a base to travel out on day trips from. The Best Western Bayside Inn was a great price and close to everything you'd want to do in Downtown San Diego. We were able to walk to the harbor drive, the Coronado ferry, plenty of great restaurants, etc. The accomodations are a little outdated but if you're looking to not spend too much and don't need anything fancy, this place works just fine!

Hotellet ligger perfekt med gå afstand til vand og by, og er utroligt nemt at komme til, direkte fra motorvejen. Rigtig fin standard og venligt personale.
