".Convenient location"
This hotel met all my expectatioins. Although I never rank anything as superior- I believe there is always room for improvment some where. Nothing is perfect. The location was great for the Hop on-Hop off Shuttle only a block or so away. The airport and rental car return was very close--only a five minute drive. The Hotel staff was very helpful in all […] areas. My only issue might be the limited seating space for the traditional pastry, cereal, coffee and fruit contentinal breakfast. (I would like some protein for breakfast but seldom see it in this price range of hotels.) Hotel is located in a nice area one block from the marina and there are fast food and high end resturants nearby. My friend and I spent three weeks on the CA coast and this (4 nites) hotel was as nice or better than the others I stayed in during my trip. Clean rooms, clean grounds. "One Night is Perfect . . . ."
if you are coming in or going out. We were meeting friends and staying in the Gaslamp the next 3 nights and just needed 1 night. The Staff was helpful, even gave us a gift! The "breakfast" was toast, cereal, fruit and juice. One good thing was the proximity to "Little Italy". It is 2 blocks away and easily walkable on a bust street. It's 2 blocks from Little Italy and about 2 miles from Balboa park. I stayed here because there was a bus that went to the park. If there was, we never found it. "Not too shabby"
This place was exactly what I wanted and expected. Don't expect anything fancy, it's a motel. My girlfriend and I typically stay at cheaper places when we travel we're hardly ever in the room and this place was all we needed. Best features: Free Parking, plenty of open spots. The features of the hotel were very basic. No breakfast was served and the room had the bare minimum of guest comforts. Ligger nära hamnpromenaden och nära restaurangstråk, om än med turistpriser. Rent och bra. Tågen och trafiken hörs väldigt mycket så det är inte så trevligt att tex ligga vid den iskalla poolen. Kanon bra motell, ligger endast ett par kvarter från flygplatsen, om du flyger till San Diego och ska se down town, old town, Sea World etc så kan du skippa hyrbilen, ta en taxi till hotellet. ett kvarter bakom hotellet ligger spårvagnsstationen Little Italy, som går mellan Old Town och Mexicanska gränsen. Ska du till Sea World så hoppar du på och åker […] ca 15 minuter till Old Town station, därifrån går bussen till Sea World. Kul utflykt att åka åt andra hållet genom hela San Diego och ner till gränsstation mot Mexico. Hotellet ligger kanon bra vid strandpromenaden, nära till allt och verkligen value for money. Frukost är alla ute på stan, men den som klarar sig på kaffe, juice och wienerbröd kan äta på motellet, eftersom det ingår, men är som sagt inte frukost med svenska mått mätt.
