The pictures look great online, but you won't be staying in that modern room with the plantation blinds. It was an old dingy hotel with new TVs. The staff was very nice, but the hotel just wasn't worth it, I thought it would be along the lines of courtyard Marriott, as the price was the same if not more. But it was more like an old motel you could get […] for 40$/night. Waste of money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"good location for most tourest sites"
Older hotel. Doors open to the outside offering little security. Very narrow parking lot. Noise from room directly above. Kind of a worn down facility but the room seemed clean. Main attraction is the easy on, easy off to three freeways and two major shopping centers with good restaurant's. For the neighborhood, it was a fair price being the low end […] type motel. "Wouldn't stay here again.."
They lost our reservation and acted like it happens all the time. They REFUSED to look at my confirmation as if they didn't want to know I was infact booked there. Finally, after 10 minutes they magically found it. Very loud hotel, questionable guests. Wouldn't stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It is definately not a 3 star hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pick a different location"
if you are going to just sleep here, consider a different location. you are too close to the freeway and there is ALOT of road noise. Days Hotel, is really a motel. I would suggest to spend an extra 10 to 20 bucks and go to a nicer spot. Something, NOT in Hotel Circle. Lesson learned.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"noisy"
Rooms are old but clean. Very noisy outside and hard to sleep. Would pick a different hotel next time.Genuine Expedia guest review
"For better or worse"
Good hotel. Kind of confusing for the GPS to find but freeway signs are plenty. Very interesting parking lot. Avoid big cars or trucks if possible. Room was a little below average but still clean. Downside of being so close to the freeway you can hear the noise and shower head was terrible.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"More like a two star"
We purposely wanted a room in this area with at least a 3 star rating but what we experienced turned out to be significantly less than that. We were disappointed with the condition of the building as well as the room. The building seemed in need of repair. The room was very narrow, one of the lights did not work and one of the beds was sagging in the […] middle. Our room was on the third floor and on one occasion we were stuck in the elevator for at least 4 minutes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pass on this one-"
At first glance, this seems to be a Days Inn but in fact it is a Days HOTEL, big difference- The 'free wireless internet' was never to be found and when I requested assistance in making an internet connection, was told to bring my laptop to the lobby so that a 'co-worker' could assist. Since it was late and I was in my PJ's, I had to pass. Our room […] was on the first floor and the ceiling was so squeaky, it was very late in the evening before the noise above had stopped and we could get to sleep. It started up again, early morning so no relaxing here. When I mentioned this to the front desk the next morning (requesting decaf and sweetener for the coffee), I was told that I should have asked for an upper floor. Really? I have never experienced such complacency from a hotel staff, not to mention that the previous guest's trash was still in the room when I checked in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"first day was dissappointment, second was much bet"
First day, I was in a room really noise. Window in the room was not multi glazing; I heard traffic from HW all night, and also any noise which was coming from parking lot. Moreover, mattress spring were old, and next day I woke up with back pain. Second day, I asked for new room, and it was what I really from the first day. No noise in the room and […] good mattress. "Not Worth The Money"
First Impression it was nice but not satisfy with the staff. At check in the Front desk guy was so rude and not very cheerful. I stay in this hotel because it said it offered free shuttle service to the San Diego Zoo and when we tried to schedule our trip there they told us had cancelled that service two weeks prior our arrival. The pool omg it was […] so salty my question is why??? Pool water is not suppose to be salty!!!! I would not be staying at that hotel again and I wouldn't recommended to anyone. "NOT 3 stars!"
Is hard to get a good nights sleep! Walls are thin (can hear everything) and the doors are SUPER LOUD slamming at all hours when guests go in and out - when your in bed and the doors shut it feels like an earthquake. Two guest, waiting for keys that worked (they were either given wrongly programmed keys or couldn't figure out the locks) decided to […] stand outside my door and argue with the hotel clerk about their problem at 2am. Would have been nice if the clerk just brought them to their room so I (and the other guests around me) didn't have to listen to the whole fiasco. When i arrived around 1:30pm to check in, the receptionist acted like I was crazy to even ask about early check-in and told me to come back at 4pm. I could have done without the attitude from a hotel clerk. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Bad service/ OK staying"
I went to San Diego for vocation and stayed there for only a day. I did purchase a room with a King-size bed from Expedia but the employee there said the room which I purchased is not guaranteed. They also said you just only stay one night so we could not help. I have been to many places and use Expedia many times. This is my first time that the MOTEL […] tells me the room is not guaranteed, which I already paid for. At least, they should say I am sorry but the room is not available to make me feel better, but they don't. The service is bad though. The cleanliness inside is OK. It's more like a MOTEL/INN than it considers itself hotel. The price is not worth for the condition. If you would to go a real hotel, you may find something else. If you want a MOTEL/INN for not cheap, you can try. By the way, you will hear noise that people go up and down with laughing and talking in the morning if you don't mind wake up early. Old looking hotel. You have to pay for additional cars in the parking lot. HOtel room is very small. It was convenient to have mini kitchenette, however, it was part of the restroom. Staff was ok. not too friendly, not rude either. Did not give good directions around the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Shuttle bummer"
The hotel advertizes with its free shuttle to Seaworld. However, when we checked in around 1pm, it appeared that the shuttles only rides 3x a day and the most convenient hours were already full for both days. Why don't they ride twice if the shuttle is full? Seaworld is only 4 miles. We could take the 1:30pm shuttle the next day, but only get the 5pm […] shuttle back. That would give us 3 hours at Seaworld. We saw the shuttle buses stand still most of the day. Don't go for this hotel if you choose it for the shuttle buses. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not so pleasant one night stay"
Not a very pleasant one night stay, in spite of how tired we were when we arrived. Room smelled like sewage because of bathroom drain and there was no door to shut to keep the smell contained. Cramped and VERY noisy hotel for the price...right next to a major highway and super noisy air conditioner. No one slept well. My only problems with this hotel is that I wanted a king size bed and that was what I reserved and when I got there the lady told me 2 queens. When I checked out the guy behind the desk was rude, when he asked for my name I told him my name and told him he then asked 4 more times and on the the […] forth time I yelled at him. "Definitely not recommended."
I booked this hotel because they have shuttle bus to the sea world. However, the seats for the shuttle bus are limited and they doesn't mention that on website or anything. When we got there the night before our trip to the sea world and tried to make a reservation for the shuttle, they had only 11:30am to the sea world and 3pm back available. Sea world […] is open 10am to 7:30pm! We had a room at the second floor and no elevator available. Maybe at the other end of the building but not anywhere close to our room. You'll need to carry your luggages upstairs step by step. Drive way is small and they parked one of their van there. One of the guests parked her car and went in the office to check in. Blocked all the other guests. No sign directs people where to park or ask people do not block the drive way. The staff didn't notice the drive way was blocked so I sat in my car waiting for more than 10 mins. The building and rooms are old. Nothing close to what they presented on the website. "No Breakfast"
I was disappointed that for the price they did not offer complimentary breakfast. The room was nice but not worth the price without the breakfast. The front desk has no change for the soda machine, was told I had to walk a half mile for that. I would look elsewhere if your trying to get your money's worth. "Worst Front Desk Customer Service!!"
The customer service was horrible. The front desk (Raly) she had the worst attitude! There was a free shuttle to old town which she told us they do not do those. "Comfortable room...lousy staff...awful parking"
The room itself was nice. The staff was not very helpful. The parking situation was awful. Each room received one parking pass and additional passes were available for an additional fee. This hotel apparently caters to large groups of kids. Our first night there was at least 1 bus load of kids and several van loads of kids. 2nd night even more teams or clubs or whatever. "Days Hotel-Hotel Circle SanDiego, CA"
We did not rent a car while visiting San Diego so we asked staff about bus service that may be cheaper than taking a taxi all the time and person we talked to had no information. Also, it was stated that we had shuttle service to certain places. One driver for the WHOLE hotel. You were lucky if he had time to take you where you wanted to go without […] waiting an hour. Driver was almost always late to pick us up. We weren't told ahead of time that we needed to call the shuttle driver when we arrived at the airport for him to pick us up so we waited an hour even after we called the hotel. And their shuttle service did not start until 6am so when we left at end of week we had to take a taxi which cost us more. We feel there should have more information available on transportation for people who did not rent a vehicle. ex: bus, trolley. They would call us a taxi but that kept costing us more than we had expected to be spending. It was an additional cost we feel we should not have had. Other hotels have more drivers and more vehicles to help their customers. This hotel had a shuttle bus and 2 shuttle vans But, one driver per shift! We enjoyed San Diego but would not recommend this particular hotel to our family and friends. There were a couple of men staff, Ethan and Mariano that were very helpful to us though with information on things to do. We had a good time in San Diego but not happy with hotel. I had originally booked and paid for a king room, upon arrival I was told there were no king rooms available and regardless of what I booked online rooms were at 'the discretion of the hotel'. "It's a SMOKING HOTEL"
The hotel was dreadfully out of date. It says it's a non-smoking facility, but Don't Believe It!! There were smokers every ten feet and the air-conditioner brought in all the smoke from the smokers out side of my room. We switched rooms 3 times hoping for a better one. One really has to even question sitting on the not-so-clean bed covers or stepping […] foot onto the carpet. Wear your shoes! Since we were only there to sleep, it was tolerable. If you're simply there for sleeping, you'll be fine. The maids did do a great job with keeping us in bed lines and wiping down the joint. It was nice having a restaurant on site that we could eat breakfast in each morning. But plan on $20 for 2. The location was excellent. It was only busy on the weekend; everyone cleared out on the weekday and that made things tolerable. It's pretty noisy--keep the TV on at night. Parking was cramped on the weekend but great during the week. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

the room curtains were like half curtains that barely left the edge of the windows. they were translucent curtains and when I went outside to look in it barely concealed anything (with the room lights on) this is a fine example of poor decorating design.
