San Diego’s waterfront airport lies northwest of downtown, which is home to the San Diego Convention Center, PetCo Park stadium, and the Gaslamp Quarter’s. That historic neighborhood’s restaurants and bars are the hub of the city’s nightlife. Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo form a green swath in this urban jungle. Offshore, Coronado Island offers postcard views of the city skyline.

Pros: Best hotel beds ever; walking distance from gaslamp district; great views; big comfortable rooms, great bathroom with separate bath/shower. Cons: Expensive and claustrophobic parking inside the building, tube tv inside bedroom, a little snobby overall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"HORRIBLE"
This place was nice at first sight but then i check in and it all went down hill from there. I booked it with bouble bed and only received one.The beds are hard, not the pillowtop as it claimed to be. So I paid a higher rate and they refused to refund the difference. The hotel said it was uop to hotels.com to give the refund and they refused to do so […] as well. The water stunk like sewage and that was on the 26th floor. The shower was dirty. There was no mini bar or refrigerator in room. I had to request one and the first one they brought didnt work so I had to wait for another. The jacuzzi smelled like feet and had soap and the pool was not heated like said. The only plus about this place was the location. Do not stay here or book through this site!!! Horrible horrible and totally ruined my bday weekend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel! Friendly staff! Would stay again!!!"
Good hotel. Loved the suite. The bed was comfortable. It was in an okay area (couple blocks to GasLamp). Access to good bars and restaurants that were within walking distance. Parking is way overpriced ($26) per night. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love the Nightlife in San Diego? - stay here!"
This is my second stay here. I love it. The rooms are great. They are clean, have comfortable beds and have everything I need including in room Starbucks coffee. It's walking distance to the Gas Lamp District. It's the best stay for my money. I will be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Sheraton Suites San Diego Symphony Hall"
The hotel is extremely pet firendly. We had our 2 toy poodles with us and we had no trouble at all moving in and out of the hotel. The stay was enjoyable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved this place!"
The hotel was so nice.. All the rooms are suites! It has it's own bedroom and living area with 2 TVs (one in bedroom one in living area) close to the gaslamp and everyone is so nice and helpful and the view from the room is amazing! Only downfall was they didn't have the free breakfast we were use to at most hotels we stay at but there was plenty of […] places to eat anyways. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonable priced hotel downtown! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Mini Bar in room was broken as well as the ice machine on our floor. Had to go down one floor which was bad just inconvenient. For some reason I had some reaction to their bed sheets, maybe it was the goose feathered pillows. Overall nice hotel shower was a bit small for me though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Sheraton Suites"
The hotel was a good stay. Stayed on the 22nd floor. The only thing that bugged me about the stay was the parking fees and the ramp and led us into the parking lot, it seemed very narrow and you can tell people have scraped their cars. If you have a truck I don't recommend unless you font mind the tight squeeze.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
