Very happy with the room conditions but we had a sofa-bed for the 3rd person in our party and it took 2 trips to the reception to get the sheets+blanket for it. The desk guy kept saying it should be in the room which it was not, else why would we ask for it? "Nothing to write home about!"
The A/C did not work. Every time we called housekeeping asking for a pillow or a towel, they told us to go pick it up at the front desk. Some dresser handles were broken and the WiFi was snail speed. I had two separate reservations, one for three nights for my wife and I, and one for one night for an associate's family during the Miramar Airshow. Both were under my name as I was paying for both rooms. When the associate and his family arrived late Saturday, I was still out. The hotel called me to verify that they were authorized to move in, and […] I said yes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, there I found them sitting in my room. We just spent 5 nights at this hotel. Accommodations were fine although the rooms are showing their age. Hotel staff was very cordial. The continental breakfast was incomplete compared to what you get next door at the H.I. Express (owned by the same company). Biscuits were still cold from refrigeration and had to be heated in a toaster. There were no […] seasonings like salt, pepper, ketchup, Tabasco to add some life to the bland fare. A microwave in the breakfast area would be a nice upgrade as well. Next time we'll go next door to the H.I. "Comfort Suites on the I-15"
Value for money - certainly. Holiday hotel - questionable. Located right next to the I-15 with no views and Denny's as a neighbour. Suite was big enough but dark and a little tired. Wer ein ruhiges Hotel sucht ist hier falsch am Platz. Nachdem wir uns ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß erkämpft hatten, war die Situation etwas besser. Ab dem 1.OG ist es wahnsinnig laut durch den Verkehrlärm. Der einzige Nachteil am EG ist, dass der Pool deutlich bis nach 22 Uhr genutzt wird (weil sich keiner um die Nutzungszeiten kümmert) und es von dort […] dann ziemlich laut ist. Zimmer sind "Suiten" mit Schlafbereich mit 2 double beds (1,20m) und einem Wohnbereich mit einem Schlafsofa. Die Sauberkeit war naja. Das Personal halbwegs freundlich aber gelangweilt. Frühstücksraum großzügig , die Auswahl eher mäßig. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Verpflegen und eine Busverbindung nach San Diego Downtown, die man gut nutzen kann, wenn man die hohen Parkkosten scheut.
