"Modernized hotel"

"Needs renovating"
First they made us wait till 6pm to check into our room. The room was dirty. Lots of freeway noise. The ice machines were broken. Room service took 2 hours to bring us some ice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing beds."
We stayed during Comic-Con - a crazy time for hotels in San Diego. While there were minor problems (a broken switch on a lamp), the staff was quick to respond and very friendly. My favorite thing about the Sheraton is their beds... what a great night's sleep! "Hotel needs work"
We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. The elevators were broken for 3 of them. They charged for parking, but the lot was open for 3 of the 4 nights ( so anyone could drive in and out). We were also disappointed that the dirty towles we left on the ground were still there, in a pile, when we returned from a day out to get dressed for a night out. The hotel […] looks a little worse for wear. I think I would have been okay with the condition of the hotel and all the little extra charges -- parking, internet if it had been a discount brand hotel. Not worth the money or the name. Some staff working there was misinformed about the airport. He told us it didn't open until 7am and our flight was at 7:20. He thought that was "weird" and thought we should not get there until a little before 7 because we wouldn't be able to get in. Not true of course. The airport is always open and can't have flights until after 6:30am. Also our reservation […] got messed up as we booked through hotels.com and the hotel had us leaving a day earlier than we thought. They fixed it but our keys didn't work for one of the days.
