Located in Mission Bay Aquatic Park's 4,600-plus acres of beaches, coves, and islands, this 18-acre resort includes a nearby private beach and dock, outdoor pool area, children's wading pool, and four spa tubs.

During warm weather, crowds pack the waters off Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, two of the most popular stretches of San Diego sand. These laidback locales are known to host the occasional farmer’s market or arts festival. Mission Boulevard connects both beaches and leads north to La Jolla.

"False Advertising"
I booked a room in a tower as per the reservation. My tower consisted of 2 floors with us on the first floor. They were having an event when we arrived, so there was no parking for the hotel. My room smelt like mold and mildew. The smell was so strong, I could not breath and decided to check out earlier. My children, 7 & 8 years old, felt sick from the smell. My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for an extended weekend. The hotel room was great and very clean. The amenities were very nice and added to the overall satisfaction of our stay. The location was central to all destinations including downtown and the coast beach communities. The only issue was the hidden parking fees charged by the hotel. The guest services at the hotel were able to drop the price to $32 a night and gave us one day free. "Great location"
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Great room service. Clean, safe, quiet and beautiful. This was a great location for our San Diego vacay. It's only a few minute drive to Old Town and it's within walking distance (about a mile) to Sea World. It was was central to everything we did including the airport (15 minutes with traffic), harbor whale watching […] tour (15 minute drive) and close to Mission beach (Minute Drive). It's located on Mission Bay and there are miles and miles of walking paths along the bay. There are two different children's play areas within a 5 minute walk from hotel. We stayed 9 days at this hotel and it was a great hub for all of the many things we did in the area. Be aware that the hotel charges a daily parking fee (ours was $28/day). It's just something to be aware of. Also, we did not have wireless in our room. There was a cable to plug in for internet, but we only brought an iPad which requires wireless. "Relaxing and great hotel to bring the family."
We were looking for a hotel to get away from everyday life and were extremely pleased upon arrival. The hotel is situated right on Mission Bay where you have access to lots of water activities or long walks around the bay. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpfull. Our room was in the one of the villas- we upgraded our room after booking it on Hotels.com […] upon arrival when we found out that there was no view in our original view. The room was facing the bay however it was a bit chilly. The cold air was coming through the sliding glass doors. We just kept the heater on at a decent temperature and dealt with it. The massage was excellent- I highly recommend their Hot Stone Massage. The pools were heated which made it very enjoyable for everyone on Christmas Day. No major complaints- oh except for the parking fees. $32 dollars per night is a bit ridiculous. Hotels really shouldn't charge for parking unless it's a congested city like NYC. I stayed in this hotel for two nights. I booked a king bed and unfortunately got two queens. To be fair, this is according to the hotels.com policy, that the room type, beds are not guaranteed. After some discussions and declining any additional fees, they gave me another room with a king bed. I was told, that it will take one hour, to clean the room […] and they will call me, when the room is ready. After two and a half our I returned to the hotel and the room was ready, but I never received a call. However, the first impression of the room was good, but the second view offered several lacks of cleaniness. A chewing gum at the bed table, dirt in the shower and also a lot of dust in the towel shelves. It was late and I was just happy to sleep. The next day in San Diego was great, but upon my return, I had to notice, that there was no room service at all that day. It was late already and I decided to not ask for room service, instead I planned to write a complain. At this time, I am still waiting for any response. The location is good, but be aware of an additional $30 for parking at the hotel. There is no other parking possibility. Food and dinner locations are not in any walking distance or close by. "Quick Stay"
We arrived at 10pm for a quick night sleep because our vacation rental wasn't available until the next day. Seeing it was a Hilton we thought it would be a decent hotel. We were wrong. We were placed right outside the elevator on the 4th floor. There were very inconsiderate hotel guests who checked in after us and they were very loud getting to their […] rooms and getting ice. I would have asked to move but it was 10pm, I was traveling with a 3 & 6 year old and we had been on the road all day. This isn't the hotels fault but the tissue paper thin walls are. I can tell you verbatim their conversations. Both my girls had colds and there was not any tissues in the room. My 3 year old could not reach the toilet paper from the toilet and our TV was not plugged in. They charged us $28 to self park our car which were weren't told about, it just showed up on our bill- they later removed the charge. And they claim to be a non smoking hotel but not even 2 feet from the door is ash trays. We walked out of our building into a sea of smokers. Just what I wanted my children to breathe!
