This hotel was a great deal! Our room was spacious, updated decor, free use of fridge, microwave, safe and FREE PARKING. I had to pay an arm and a leg at a 4 Star in downtown. Suprisingly, everything was close... shopping malls, fast food restaurants, freeway. This place is also pet friendly. I will stay here everytime, staff were wonderful. "La Qunita Mission Valley - average stay"
This hotel was good, about what I expected. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice too. As far as the noise from the car dealership, I didn't notice it too much, and we were on that side of the hotel. The continental breakfast was what you'd expect. "A Diamond in the rough...."
We were in San Diego for an overnight stay. The hotel was conveniently centrally located next to the freeway intersection. You can go north, south, east, or west in San Diego. The rooms were decorated nicely in a modern motif. I only wish they had firm pillows but that 's just a personal thing. Looks like the place got a new coat of paint...again the […] place looks nice, modern and tropical. There was plenty to choose from during their continental breakfast. I had the DIY (do it yourself) waffles and was surprised to see that the sugar free syrup was tastier than the regular ones!? "La Quinta Inn and Suites San Diego Mission Valley"
Our experience was a most positive one. I researched for several hours before booking at this location. I wanted proximity to the sights we were going to see and shopping centres for personal items and gifts as well as occasional eateries. Everything met our expectations (free parking, free wireless internet (although a little slow at times), free toiletries […] and free deluxe breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, lots of cereal, bagels, English muffins, whole wheat bread to toast, fresh fruit, waffles and others I can't remember. A ten to twelve dollar breakfast for the cost of a daily tip to the 'keeper of the room'. We will definitely be staying at this facility on our next visit to San Diego. The pool and hot tub were inviting and the area was immaculate. Any negative reviews are coming from whiners who make it a habit to complain about anything and everything.
