Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina has an 17-story tower with views of the Pacific Ocean, Mission Bay and gardens. The resort features jogging and cycling paths and offers bicycle rentals. The property also features a hair salon an eco-friendly spa offering facials, massages, body treatments, manicures and pedicures. Other amenities of this resort include three new pools, multiple water slides, a waterfront fitness center and an on-site, full-service marina. Red Marlin serves California-modern cuisine with an emphasis on sustainable, organic ingredients and boasts bayside views. The pool bar and lounge, SWIM, offers a Pan-Latino fusion menu and showcases a 360-degree, 800-gallon aquarium in the center of the bar. For business travelers, the resort provides a conference center and a 24-hour business center. High-speed Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge). An area shuttle is complimentary.

Guestrooms at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina feature views of the ocean, garden, marina, courtyard or pool. Rooms offer cherry or light wooden armoires, headboards and tables or desks. My mom and I took a girls trip to San Diego - our first time to the area, and we decided to stay at Mission Beach. The hotel area was beautiful! Be sure to take the trolly if you have never been, as it gives a great overview of the surrounding attractions. Great because it picks you up at the hotel! I only stayed one night but I had been given a very spacious suite off the main building. The view into the yacht harbor was affected by a nearby convenience store .... so ask for a higher floor if you can. Easily accessible from the main highway but there is not much around there to do so you'll need to drive wherever you want to go. Nice property. On the downside though - did not receive the room type that I paid for. Paid for a suite in the two story building, received a regular King Room in the tower. Children in room above constantly ran back and forth back and forth back on forth throughout their room and it was loud and annoying, along with our room being close to the elevator […] which we could hear EVERYTIME it went to our floor or passed our floor. Room was not real clean - spots on lampshades, etc. dusty. refrigerator did not work and coffeemaker was dirty. no place to get coffee in the morning - had to walk to einstein bagels and pay $3 a cup. Noise in my room the first Saturday due to a wedding reception. Room was shaking from the pounding music. Service at the desk was good and so were the […] concierge services. Did like the location being close to the marina but it was colder due to being by the water. Hotel is older - furniture worn. I did like the atmosphere at the Red Marlin and food was good there.
