Our room was upgraded for free to a much larger room so after a long drive it was nice to be able to have the space to relax in. Yes as noted by some other reviewers the wall paper was coming off the walls but since it was only in the bathroom and I didn't have to sleep in there I couldn't care less. Lots of nice touches though were evident in the bathroom […] (loved the sinks they looked like two wash bowls, the thick glass wall of the shower was spotless) so the wall paper really didn't bother us. A little far removed from some things but close enough to the highway on ramp to get to where more action can be found. Overall I would stay there again and would gladly let my friends in on this nice little hotel. Read more

We came here for my wife's birthday and loved it. 0 complaints or concerns. We were even upgraded to a suite so that we'd have a place to store our bicycles. Turn down service had chocolate chip cookies....better than chocolate. As a surprise, we hit town to find the Exeter UFO Festival there at the same time.......Take it where you will. You will love this place as a get-away from the hustle of the owrld - Plenty of shops and plenty of art galleries abound- porstmouth nh is close by for music and more dining the inn is very comfortable and unique with the academy nearby for great walking paths

This hotel is clearly an old building, but it has all the modern conveniences (flat screen tv, free wi-fi, etc.). It's the little extra touches they do that make it so special. Until a few more places that are under construction are finished, this is about the only place in Exeter to stay. We found it convenient to both Newburyport and Portsmouth but there's not much to see or do in Exeter itself. The restaurant in the Inn was good and the atmosphere was very good, but the restaurants in Exeter Center were overpriced and understaffed. […] In one we waited 20 minutes after being seated without anyone acknowledging we were present. When a table near us with people seated after us was visited first, we decided to leave. The only complaint about the Inn is that the room was very small. There being no room to place the TV on a table, it was hung on a wall to the right of the bed, making viewing uncomfortable. No bureau meant working out of our suitcases. A fine inn. None of the usual nonsense that sometimes comes with a bargain booking. Lovely high quality ameneties and linens. Warm chocolate chip cookies delivered to the room in the PM. Friendly courteous staff. Fabulous breakfast for a reasonable price. A real bargain/value at this unbelievable price. Too good to be true but it was.

L’Exeter Inn (Exeter) au New-Hampshire, est un endroit fort sympathique ! Bien situé, à quelques pas du (petit) Centre-ville et vraiment à deux pas du Phillips Exteter Academy. Le personnels est courtois - on nous a même indiqué le chemin du « liquor store » du coin ! - et surtout qualifiés ! Notre chambre était petite…mais confortable. Malheureusement, […] lors de notre séjours - nous avons eu droit à du mauvais temps - ceci veut dire mauvais signaux pour la TV (satellite ?). À notre retour dans la chambre en soirée, nous avons eu la surprise de retrouver, deux (excellent) biscuits aux brisures de chocolats / menthe. Également, notre lit avait été préparé pour la nuit ! Quel service ! Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner au restaurant « Epoch ». Correct… pas trop cher, et quand même bon. Là aussi nous avons eu droit à un service adéquat. Stationnement gratuit et vaste (tout le tour de l’hôtel). A moins de 15 minutes de Hampton Beach… si vous avez envie d’une baignade. Read more

très bel accueil. L’hôtel est située dans un cartier historique. Pour ceux qui aiment l'architecture vous serez ravis. Secteur tranquille, par contre long des restos, ont doit utiliser l'auto.
