"Not worth the expense. Paper thin walls & Small"
We were very unhappy. It seem expensive for what we were getting. Room was very small and you can hear the hair blower 3 rooms down the hallway. I would not recommended it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cramped room with a view"
The Exeter Inn is a nice place, but the room we stayed at was almost comically small. It lacked a dresser and all but the smallest table. A queen-sized bed took up nearly the entire space. The bathroom was so small that you had to tuck yourself into the corner to close the door and the there was virtually no counter space in there. It's an old hotel, […] and my guess is there is little they can do on the size of some rooms, but they ought not to be renting those to two people. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fishing Trip to NH"
Sadly, I was very dissappointed with this hotel. The rooms were not clean (floors in bathroom were filthy, hair in shower drain). The hotel needs serious renovation. The carpets smell of mildew, there was very little counter space available in the bathroom, and there were no screens on three of the 4 windows in our room. Lastly, the wallpaper was peeling […] in the bathroom, and there was cracked and broken tiles in the shower. The hotel front desk/ and housekeeping service was lacking. We asked for towels and never received them (there was only one set of towels in the bathroom for two adults. There were a couple positive aspects about the hotel. One, the turndown service was a nice touch and included fresh baked cookies. Second, the hotel restaurant and bar were fantastic. Very contemporary in contrast to the rest of the hotel. We had dinner and brunch at the restaurant and the food was awesome! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great spot"
As a woman traveling alone, I like hotels where I can drive up, get out and not have to park underground, around the corner, across the street or whereever. Nice smaller hotel, housekeeping staff needs retraining. A coffeemaker in the room is needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great restaurant, mediocre hotel"
The hotel is very nice on the outside. Nice gardens and lighting. The inside bar area and restaurant are also very pleasing to the eye. This seems to be where the updates ended. The front desk reception area is tired. There is nothing exciting about the interior hallways and very little common areas. Rooms are tiny, which is fine given the style of […] property, but given the style this hotel seems to want to be, I was disappointed that there was no coffee makers in the room, and as silly as it seems the toilet paper was 1-ply truck stop tissue. Just seems that they are cutting costs unnecessarily, assuming people won't notice or care. They did offer complimentary coffee at reception, but I find this a nuisance ti have to get up, dressed just to get my morning coffee. They do offer turn down service, with cookies which was a nice touch. They food at Epoch, was fabulous. I was quite impressed and intrigued by the menu, and the items ordered did not disappoint. I would highly recommend a meal (I only had dinner) here. With some small changes to this hotel, clean comforters (they should go to sheets around the duvet, like most hotels these days), coffee makers, better tissue and a friendlier reception desk staff (never once said hello or good morning or good evening when you walked past to get a coffee or leave the hotel) this hotel would be much easier to recommend Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
