Seattle’s Eastside is one of America’s most affluent areas. Multimillion-dollar estates on Lake Washington are home to a few billionaires, including Bill Gates. With its concentration of finance and tech firms, downtown Bellevue's skyline rivals that of Seattle. The Eastside has several corporate headquarters, Microsoft, Nintendo of America, and Eddie Bauer.

The cons were - paid parking, the decor in the room is dated. Pros: spacious room, clean, nice bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Unfortunately not recommended"
Here is the deal. We travel a lot with our family to Bellevue, on average we spent at least 1 or 2 nights per month, so we've had an opportunity to try several hotels in the area. For the $$$ I was surprised that: A. Parking was extra (not in Bellevue please, this is the FIRST hotel in Bellevue where I have to pay for parking) B. No free WiFi (Seriously?? […] this is the Hilton and I have to pay extra for that!!). C. Poor location (if you plan on walking to Bellevue Square or Downtown....good luck!). C. The hotel is dated (looks like a flashback from the early 80's and it smells like it too) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Overall hotel and room were satisfactory but there was a large ugly stain on the carpet which surprised me. Beds and bedding were comfortable, room was large and quiet. There was NO STAFF near the front door except the check-in clerk so nobody to help with questions etc. When I asked for help with bags the clerk could not find a cart to help with. This […] was strange. The check-in clerk was helpful when asked a direct question but we literally saw nobody else other than the bartender during our stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Big disappointment"
While the hotel was quite nice, we did not receive the room that had been promised to us by Hotels.com. The description we received was that it had 2 queen pillow top beds, "a deep soaking tub" and complimentary bathrobes. The room did have the two beds, however, it was just a regular tub and no robes. When I called down to the desk I was informed that […] the soaking tubs and robes were for the executive rooms. We had only a standard double. The desk clerk did say she would send up robes for us, but then that never happened. So we were very disappointed in the room and the hotel service. If Hotels.com provides a specific description I expect to receive that room and did not, so I am disappointed in Hotels.com also. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointing for a Hilton"
Overall, we were disappointed with this Hilton property: 1. Registration desk staff - unhelpful/lazy. 2. Towels were not changed in our room, even though we called and requested fresh towels. 3. Empty kleenex box in our room all three days of our stay. 4. Sliding glass doors needed cleaning. 5. Hotel decor seemed dated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Front Desk Not all that helpful when asking simple questions about the area. Hotel is just off the interstate and if one would get on that side of the hotel I would think the interstate traffic would be heard from ones room.Genuine Expedia guest review

"so so hotel in a very good location"
we stayed over the weekend and they never changed our sheets. I had to call for towels, soaps and other necessacities which should be in the room. The place needs an update, no refrigerator and it was a bit old looking. The rooms were large and the bed was comfortable but nothing was modern. "lacking on service"
We had 5 guests in our room. Everyday we had to request additional towels. They would take our towels and not leave new ones. We requested a roll away bed on check in. We had to call twice and it was not delivered until 10pm. We paid additional on making reservations to have continental breakfast every day. The front desk said that they had no record […] of this. I had to provide my confirmation. Then they tried to tell me that I only listed one guest on the reservation. Eventually, they gave us the coupons for the breakfast. Whenever we needed something from the front desk, there was only one person on duty and a long line. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Older hotel showing its wear"
Hotel is showing its wear & tear. My room was also not fully cleaned/checked through. There was a charger in one of the drawers seemingly left behind by the last guest, the toilet paper wasn't folded up like you expect in a hotel room and the precision just wasn't there. Staff was friendly and everything was ok, not great and not up to normal Hilton […] expectations. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Watch out for the fees"
Although the hotel is clean and located in a great area, they seem to like hidden charges. For instance, it wasn't until after we checked out that we discovered that they billed us a $150 incidentals fee, in case we used room service or any other charges to our room. Any unused portion would be refunded within 48 hours after check-out. This fee is not […] listed anywhere when booking the hotel or on their website. Additionally, wi-fi access is $14.95 per day, another fact not found when booking or on their site. I also find it preposterous that according to their website they charge $10 a day for parking in their parking lot. Where else are the customers supposed to park? Their parking lots are large enough to accomodate everyone, so why are they accessing another fee? Overall, they just need to be upfront about all costs beforehand. "They call THAT a 4 star hotel? I think not."
The customer service was awesome, but the room itself was far from the 4 star status they claimed. The door to the room had a 2.5 inch gap from the floor and was much too close to the elevator to have so little sound proofing. You don't rest well when you hear every ding, and footstep coming from the lobby. The carpet in the room was ancient and included […] a huge stain right in front of the bathroom. Yuck. Lastly, the room had popcorn ceiling... My understanding is that stuff is dangerous. I expected better, but was pleased with the location. For what I spent, I thought it would be much better. Oh well, better luck next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Unacceptable for the price"
The Hilton Bellevue clearly had it's time in the sun, but that moment passed some time ago. The overall impression is "dated upscale", which to me is worse than something like "modern casual". In any case, my real problem with the facility was the maintenance and cleanliness. I've gotten into the habit of scouting for bedbugs when I'm at a hotel, and […] to allay concerns - no bedbugs. What I did find under the mattress were quite a few pine needles (as in 100+, not 1 or 2) and numerous odd stains like something had splattered over the boxspring; I'm sure there's an interesting story behind this. I asked for and received another room, which was actually pretty clean - no complaints there. BUT... there were a few odd maintenance issues in room 2. The furnace filter (overhead, coffee nook) was completely clogged with dust and obviously hadn't been changed in ages. Once the room cooled down I turned off the AC to reduce sneezing. The weirdest issue with the room was that the shower handle was on upside down; I should have taken a picture. Full hot was full cold and vice-versa. After discovering this, it still took the water almost 5 minutes to warm up at 4:30 pm (the next morning was fine). Anyways, I've never written a negative review of a hotel before, so... score? There was nothing too terrible here, and room 2 was clean. I eventually did get a hot shower. On the plus side, the location is very convenient and the hotel was quiet despite the proximity to I-405. I can't recommend it though; I got a discount for a last minute booking, which made it a better deal than other hotels in the area. But full price? No way. This hotel is not representative of the Hilton brand, and you shouldn't expect an upscale experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hilton Bellevue"
I was not that impressed with this hotel! It needed more maintenance and cleanliness. . The hotel also charges $15 extra a day for internet in your room! "Stop-over in Seattle"
My husband and I stopped in Seattle a few days after an international trip and stayed at the Hilton Bellevue. The hotel was nice- very clean and conformable, but it was not very convenient getting into Seattle proper. First, you had to take the hotel shuttle to the Bellevue bus station (when it says shuttle to downtown THIS is what it means). It was […] a 5 min ride in the shuttle or a 20 minute walk. Once you got to the station you hopped on a bus and rode it into the city. It took 30-45 minutes to get from the hotel to downtown Seattle. The hotel itself was very comfortable (the bed was VERY soft), but the staff was a bit lacking. We waited 15 minutes in line to check in because only one person was working the front desk with a line of 5 patrons. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed For a Hilton"
Arrived on Jun 30, 2011 and the lady that checked me in was much more friendly than the assistant manager that I dealt with on the phone. The room was very spacious but housekeeping did not vacuum once when we were there. It got to the point I wanted to ask for a vacuum and do it myself. The best thing about the hotel was the awesome bed, and being […] so close to the highway and shops. The hotel definately needs a makeover as it is dated. For the price that we paid I would not come back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Dated, but a nice stay nonetheless"
This hotel excelled in the important areas: clean comfortable room and location but failed in the added perks. It is a Hilton, so I guess the expectation is you will have to pay for the perks like wireless internet or have pricey room service options...none of which are really a big deal. Room was a bit dated, mainly in the bathroom but overall I was […] satisfied and would stay again if the rate was right. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed in Room 544 and were disappointed - no view, we had the air conditioner unit by our window. Then the air return screen by the vanity was very dusty - had not been cleaned in a long time. We needed ice and the ice machine on the 5th floor was out of order. We would like to come again, but we will ask for another room - not 544. Breakfast really […] good especially the waffle. The hotel was average at best. On our second day there, we returned from sightseeing to find that the room had been cleaned, but the toilet was full of urine. The hotel did accomodate us and move us to another room. On our way home I also realized that I had left my chiropractic pillow in the room. After a week, I am still waiting for a call back from […] the lost and found at the hotel. I wouldn't return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Unfortunately not great..."
The first disappointment was to get an extra charge for an extra person when there was only 2 of us staying in the room which is something I have never heard of in all of my travels around North America. I was able to get past that as the room rate was still a very good rate, but then, dispite being out all day, our room was never clean when we returned […] at 4:30 or 5 PM both days so I would have to call. Then even when they did come to clean, they did not clean the bathroom at all either day, even though on the second day when I had to call I told them that the bathroom had not been cleaned. It was just disappointing, especially when you are staying at a Hilton of which we have generally always had good experiences with. I will say that I loved the water in the lobby that had the strawberries in it. It was nice to come back to the hotel and grab a refreshing glass of water. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent 3 star hotel"
A decent 3 star hotel. Stayed 2 nights. First night was ok although the whole family got waken up by a plumber at 9am knocking the door with a do-not-display sign clearly displayed outside the door and a follow up phone call from the front desk, ending up they got the wrong room. Don't expect a full room service for the second night. The beds are not […] fully made, toilet paper and towell not refilled. Front desk customer service wasn't too pleasant.
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
