"NYE we got a compliant.... Too LOUD??"

"Excellent Location for Bellevue and Seattle"
We tacked on a couple of extra days to see the sights and the hotel is conveniently located by the highway so easy access into Seattle or surrounding areas. "Hotel and location OK, but nickle and diming..Ugh."

Front desk staff and bellhops were all extremely friendly and accommodated my every request. I asked for an upper floor room with a view. They put me on 21st floor with a view of the lake. The clerk also printed a map for me to the place I had to go to the next morning when I asked how long she thought it might take to get there. When I checked in […] bellhop, Julius, brought my bags up to my room for me. He was very friendly, made sure everything in my room was OK and that I didn't need anything else before he left. When I checked out he was my bellhop again, taking my bags all the way to my car on parking level 5 and loaded them into my car. Only complaint I have is that I had to request that a microwave be brought to my room. I don't know why they don't just put one in every room, since they have mini fridges. I called the front desk for a microwave after realizing there wasn't one. The clerk wasn't sure they had any left, but said if they did it would be up in 15 minutes. I told her there was no rush, but it wasn't 10 minutes and Gloria, a staff member, knocked on my door holding a microwave. Unfortunately the microwave's power cord was extremely short, so the only place we could put it was on the desk, which I had papers and books spread out all over. So, I had to move all of that for Gloria to plug in the microwave. This forced me to work around the microwave for the rest of my stay. The Hyatt Bellevue is great for a business trip in downtown bellevue. Good dining options across the courtyard, across the street (Din Tai Fung comes to mind) and around the corner. I've found that the rooms are the most consistently comfortable/clean of all the 'major' hotels in the immediate area of downtown bellevue, and the staff will go out of […] their way if asked. "Good location and amenities"
I was working in downtown Bellevue all week and chose this hotel because it was close to the office. Check in/check out was very efficient; it's a standard Hyatt hotel with nothing surprising about it, which is probably what one wants from a business trip. Good things: 24 hour fitness centre on the other side of the plaza, so even when finishing at […] the office late, it's possible to get a run in to clear your head. Staff impeccable at all times. Less good things: room is a little bit anonymous, but that's as it is for all large chain hotels. Few little annoyances: closet was smaller than I expected, bathroom didn't have an extractor fan, which meant if you showered, mirror was too steamed up to shave immediately after. the fact that there was pupic hairs in the tub didn't help...it took the maids untill after 4 in the afternoon to clean and then we had to ask for shampoo ,soaps and such,clean glasses .they complied quickly but we shouldn't have had to ask I feel..then the pool was out of order two of the three days we were there,so that was disappointing to our kids.. "Solid choice for downtown Bellevue"
The nearby shopping is convenient, the hotel is comfortable and clean, though I expected a little more attention to detail from this brand -- the table surfaces were clearly not wiped down daily. It is near a Whole Foods and the freeway, so Seattle and the University District were easy to reach and luckily traffic cooperated with us. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the hotel and the room was clean and confortable. The beds were made every day and the room always felt clean. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't obvious what was free and what was chargeable in the room, but it didn't affect the quality of my stay. "Noisy, Noisy and Noisy"
Stayed twice at this hotel. First visit was okay, other than carpets really need replacing in rooms and noise level outside rooms was intense. On return trip same things to complain about, excpet at 2:30Am security had to come and break up a fight in the hall. This is suppose to be a 5 star hotel, but improvements need to be made.
