Hyatt Regency Bellevue

From the moment I walked in the door the Hyatt staff was exceptional. Although I prefer to stay at "boutique" hotels, I chose the Hyatt for location and the fact I was traveling with several family members. I never had to wait for an elevator, the Tullly's (coffee) in the main lobby was so nice for my East Coast jet lag and early rise. The work out […] room was excellent AND the breakfast in the AM (restaurant on site) was to die for. I've never seen Tiramisu pancakes before and my son thought they were amazing (hello, Instagram!). All great - however I wish they would have told me they put a $50 Credit card hold on your credit card for incidentals! After checking my bank statement I could not figure out what this charge was and had to call the hotel! Slightly scary at the time. Balance of review all very good!

We had a really nice stay. However, the hotel seems to be cutting cost on the toiletries since they don't give us all the necessary items, and I only get one bottle of lotion when asking for it. It's hard to satisfy me on two items relating to comfort: showers and mattresses. Your shower is in the bathtub and has a hanging plastic curtain instead of a door. I take points off for those two. Also, I've had two back surgeries, and so far, the Stearns & Foster mattress at the Plaza Hotel in New York is the only one that really works for me. The staff are very helpful, friendly and polite. The service overall was excellent and the business plan that includes wifi, breakfast, one free water and shirt pressing is a really good deal. My only issue was the noise of the room heating fan at night. Its a little bit too noisy.

my first time at a hyatt and maybe I expected to much. Other hotels offer free refreshments and I didnt enjoy paying $4 for a water. I loved the shower and over all comfort. Just don't understand why the more "expensive" hotels don't offer more such as refreshments and free internet.

Upon checking in, the manager wanted to charge me an extra $30.00 for my toy poodle to stay in the room. I had already made reservation in advance for a dog friendly room and paid by credit card. The ruffles on top of the curtain where taped together and the electric wires hung loosly and unattractive under the desk.

disregard most of the reviews below. The hotel was remodled about a week ago and there are still a few things it looks like they are finishing. So everything was super clean brand new. I didn't try the breakfast which seemed expensive like most hotels. The Friday night free parking is a big perk. The parking structure is very confusing with the multiple […] towers but a security guard pointed us in the right direction. Note that you may want to keep the room cooler than normal as they are using the sheet and comforter bedding system that seem to be the new trend. The room had double pane windows and it was quiet. I suspect if you got a room infront of their massive AC system on the roof it could be loud but we were only about 5 rooms away and did not hear it. Double pane and cement construction go a long way for me on the hotel's overall rating. Read more

Pretty, clean hotel in nice location across from mall and restaurants. Beds are tiny (doubles not queens) so great for two individuals, but not great for a family with a few kids. The pool is not really kid friendly either. A fantastic place for adults, but I wouldn't stay there again with the kids. Also, you have to pay for internet service.

Great 3 night stay. Check in was smooth. Business deal worked out great with free breakfast and internet. Great view from the 19th floor. Indoor walk to Daniels (not to be missed). Only complaint was that the TV remote batteries were low (shouldn't be using it anyway since the Lodgenet app works great)...

Being in Bellevue, this is a business-oriented hotel but when the rates go down at the weekend, it's a good place to take the family. During the recent ice storm in the Puget Sound Area we got a room at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bellevue. Due to the storm, all other hotels in the area were full. The price was outragious! Parking was additional and even the bathroom rug was frayed. The next night we found another hotel in the area with an equally nice room except the new hotel also […] had a refrigerator and microwave, did not charge for parking and provided a free full hot breakfast- all for a third of the cost of the Hyatt. We couldn't stay at that hotel past the one night as they were fully booked so we found another hotel in the area with an even nicer room than the second hotel, with a frig & microwave, free parking & all for half of the Hyatt. (This one did not provide a complementary breakfast). These comparisons show that the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue is highly overpriced. Read more

This is, overall, a great hotel. Service is impeccable as is location. 2 critiques: circulation from garage to hotel lobby is akward and laborius. Condition of original hotel tower rooms is tired, all brown, peeling wallpaper. Could use a fresh look and some neutral colors. EVERYTHING is a shade of brown. I would ask for the new tower.
