"Close to the city square"
I liked this place a lot, the hotel itself was nice with a modernized bathroom in an older hotel with character. The main selling point is the great location right by the square and a nice coffee shop next door. I imagine this would be a great place for a relaxing weekend retreat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Allow time for shopping in the square!"
If you are claustrophobic, you might want to make sure that you get an "outer" room at this hotel. Our room was an "inside" room which meant NO windows. Since we got in really late and we just stayed one night, it was tolerable. Other than that, the staff was super nice, rooms were nicely decorated, lobby was very nice, and it's a great location for […] McKinney with GREAT shopping in the square. You can just walk out the front door, grab a coffee at the local coffee shop next door, and spend the day walking around the square and shopping at some really cute stores.
