The StarLux is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. I stayed in one of the two AirStream travel trailers and I loved it! My parents used to take our... family on vacation by travel trailers so this was a blast from the past. The AirStreams have been refurbished and so look pretty true to their original condition - though I have never been in one before. I went off-season (last week) so there weren't many people in the hotel or nearby. There is a diner nearby and lots of other restaurants and night spots (bars) so there is probably alot to do nearby in the summer. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 24, 2012

Situated near the beach in Wildwood, Starlux Hotel is close to Wildwood Beach, Wildwood Convention Center, and Boardwalk Chapel. Also nearby are Adventure Pier and Splash Zone Water Park.

It's a funky little hotel consistent with the Wildwoods "doo wop" theme. My room was one of the 2-bedroom corner units, it was clean, the bathroom was simple but gracious in size. Very nice little hotel with a 50's atmosphere. Just across the street from the boardwalk and convenient to the conference center. It was clean, well maintained, and at least when I was there, quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. Recommended.
