"Very cute getaway"
The staff was excellent and VERY accommodating. There were bicycles on a first come basis if you wanted to ride around the area. We were there for the 50's celebration and it's an easy walk from the Starlux to the Convention Center. Air streamer camper was different, liked the fact that there was basically one other room(camper) in the area. I believe next time we will stay at the same hotel,but try a regular room. It was clean, the management was friendly. The beds were listed as full ( but not as wide as my full bed at home). The rooms are adequate, but there is not a lot of floor space. Two people can not walk past the bed at the same time. The bathroom was very clean and I liked the layout. The heat worked extremely well, we had a bad draft under the door, […] but just laid down a towel and it took care of it. Could of used another chair, we brought the outside chair in. We had a bad storm or I might of tried out the hot tub....didn't know they one..not in listing for hotel. We were thankful for an end room. "Great location and great value for price"
I booked through Expedia.com just two days before going on our trip, the only room for four people this hotel had available was the airstream trailer which looked spacious enough but was instead very disappointing. I don't recommend any more than two people sleep in the airstream trailer and if you don't like to feel confined into a tight space I say […] book a regular room instead. We spent one night there and the next morning I expressed myself to the manager who thank god was very accommodating and professional and upgraded us to a queen bed suite with a sofa bed. We stayed there for Cape May Marathon. The location is fine. There are things within walking distance. It was offseason, so most places were not open. The hotel is nice, well maintained, very stylish and it is in great location-across from the beach and hot spots. I stayed there in march 2011 and it was very empty in the hotel and around. EVERYTHING was closed till May. For some reason they gave us the furthest room from the lobby and I couldn't get wireless internet reception there at all, I complained […] but nothing was done and I had to go to the lobby to work on my school asignments. There was no free breakfast either, they serve it only in summer. Overall stay was ok. The front desk was awesome from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. Very friendly and helpful, even made dinner reservations for us. We had a room with two double beds which was too small for us but at least it was clean and we were only in it for sleeping. Very close to the beach and boardwalk. Hotel staff not the friendliest; just check you in and you're on your own...they could have told us where the free breakfast that is offered or available discount tickets.
