"Quaint"
The hotel was great, old charm but with modern updates. The staff were very nice, the owner checked us in and even offered to carry our bags upstairs. The only thing was no aircon and we slept with the windows open. This was actually very nice until abt 5am when the street cleaner came by. As we were leaving I found earplugs on the sink beneath the […] soap...would have been nice to know they were there, then we would have had a great nights sleep! aparently the sweeper only comes by Friday mornings? Other than that i would come back, this place is very cute and charming and twilight pizza down the block has the most amazing pizza ever and we recommend 'the smear'! Cute and very quiet hotel, blissfully comfortable beds and luxurious bedding, nice staff. Only drawback was location. Not much to do in the quiet little town of Camas and paper plant was smelly. But only 20 minutes from Portland, which was where we spent our days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful Stay"
The Camas Hotel and personal were lovely. There was a sense of being in a European Bed and Breakfast, really well thought out and decorated. The convenience of having the kitchen right down the hall for self service food preparation and the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"cute and budget-friendly"
This was a good value for the cheapest room (no breakfast, shared bathroom). Our room (#17) would have been a complete IKEA set, except for the gross stain on the old carpet. Otherwise, it was cute and hip, with a purple wall and tree-branch stencils. The room looked out through the large oaks in the historic district of Camas. (My wife loved that there […] were three vintage shops in only two blocks). The mattress was a bit pokey but the linens were crisp and white. WiFi was good enough to watch the finale of The Office in bed, so no complaints there. A train whistle or two came through at night only a couple blocks away, but I didn't really mind. We got breakfast at a nearby coffee/panini shop on 3rd so I can't comment on the breakfast. We arrived at 10pm and left by 8, so we saw very little of the staff to comment on. Hotel is in the middle of the cute little town, there is only street parking so you may have to park a block away. Railroad tracks one block away, the train went by at 8-10 times in the night with the train horn blowing waking us. No hairdryer in room but the desk clerk finally found one and brought it to the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Old Hotel"
We were so pleased with this "find". The owner was very concerned that we knew the level of room we were getting that she personally called us. It was very well appointed, though our room was small; it had everything we needed and was clean; which is extremely important to me. The bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will […] definitely be back! Loved the lights on the street in Camas. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bait and Switch"
I think I got the bait and switch routine. Signed up for one room type private room with private bath and when I got to the hotel I was given a European room instead. I was told I could have a private room for more money. I refused and cancelled my reservation. My advice to anyone that stays there keep all copies of your paperwork not just the confrimation […] number. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome Hotel within awesome downtown area"
The Owner was at the front desk, she was super helpful and amazing. This hotel is fabulously decorated and situated perfectly in the downtown area. They have a thing called first Friday which is obviously the first Friday of the month where the whole downtown stays open late and you can have some wine across the street from the hotel while looking at […] some interesting local art. I will be back to this hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Calming small town charm with bonus train whistles"
Had an excellent stay. They kept the door open late for me and had fantastic "continental" breakfast. I'll be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"ok"
Good hotel, clean and friendly. Room is small and the double bed should be a Queen size. I would recommend the hotels for a stop over but not an extended stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Charming!"
The employees were so friendly. The rooms were small but lovely. The atrium area was perfect for relaxing with the newspaper. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant, which is closed now, so we had to find someplace else to dine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Historic Charm and Elegance"
This is a delightful hotel. It has small rooms but is very clean and the beds are so comfy. It is a list topper for it's historic charm and elegance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Historic Hotel"
The hotel is small but beautiful, it is very well kept and has a lot of character. The girls at the front desk were very friendly. When we checked in the girl was very nice and carried my mom's suitcase up the stairs. That would be the only negative is that there is no elevator, if anyone is not able bodied they would have difficulty with the stairs. […] Our room was cozy with a very comfortable bed and beautiful duvet. The toiletries they provided were lovely. Breakfast was very good. It's a good location, close to Portland and close to the Hood River area. Great value! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient located Hotel from Portland Airport"
Staff was friendly but not available when needed. Water in shower was cold all time. Breakfast wasn't served in time and was scheduled late anyways (8.00am#. Located in a nice area #in WA) only 15 min from Portland, OR Airport.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice location for couples."
Ok hotel for a single person or couple but not ideal for families. Breakfast was pretty limited.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great breakfast and service. Very charming and comfortable. We'll be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a very quaint hotel in a part of town that reminded me of where I grew up. They do clean the streets at 5amGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect small town location within easy drive to Portland without the traffic and expense of the big city. Great neighborhood for walking to restaurants, movie theatre, coffee, and exercise. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the boutique hotel room, gourmet breakfasts and the helpful pleasant staff. We will book again at The Camas Hotel on our next […] visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the hotel and it's staff. The room was lovely and very clean, the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful as were the local business owners. I'll be happy to return again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cute and homey Hotel"
We enjoyed staying at the Camas hotel.. The rooms had a lot of character. The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear and smell the paper mill at night. There were complimentary ear plugs in the hotel. The air conditioner was really loud too. The continental breakfast was decent - in a really neat "balcony" room. Service was very nice and friendly. […] I would had preferred a queen bed to a double but we booked this room 5 hours before staying in it! Bed was comfrotable though. Dedicated parking lot was a few blocks down the road. "Excellent value and quality"
The receptionist called ahead to see if we needed directions. She provided a review of the surrounding resturants, as the hotel's resturant was closed on Monday night, to assist us in deciding if we should stop on the way for dinner or wait till we got to Camas to eat. The room was quiet and comfortable and very close to the airport so that it was easy […] to catch my Tuesday morning flight. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We had a great time and the staff was awesome. There is a great Italian restaurant down the street and they even offer movie tickets. I would stay there everytime I am in Vancouver.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Helpful staff and unique hotel experience"
I had to leave in the morning before breakfast on two separate days. The first morning, the hotel manager came in early and set out breakfast. The second time, they provided me breakfast the night before since no one was working before 8. The hotel was really cute and kept up well and the attached restaurant had great dessert. It was much better than […] a cookie-cutter chain hotel and the drive to town was not bad at all. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Our spur of the moment get away!"
On a spur of the moment, let's get away sort of thing, we booked a room at our current favorite place, Camas Hotel. We can always count on a wonderful stay with no surprises! We love the warm colored rooms with rich bedding and dark wood. (We are not the cutesy, pastel kind of people!) We love the intimate coziness of the Hotel and town. The breakfast […] offered sooo many fresh and appealing choices-just right to bring back to our room for breakfast in bed! The stay was great, inexpensive and fit our budget perfectly. The Camas Antique store, Piccolo coffee and theater also brought enjoyment. (We actually were at the antique shop for 2+ hours. Loved every minute!) We will absolutely be back as Spring approaches. I can not find one negative thing to say about our visit. Karen even carried my bags up to our room! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful Place"
This hotel is very sweet. Only 20 minutes from the Portland Airport and yet tucked into a small atmospheric old town in Southern Washington on the Columbia Gorge. Very high quality beds, refrigerator in room, iron. The location allowed me to easily attend a function in Portland one day, and take a spectacular drive and hike the next day. Complimentary […] breakfast was delicious. My only small complaint is the breakfast offerings were pretty picked over one morning by the time I got there. Overall, a wonderful stay. "Great Hotel"
Great Hotel but advertised on Expedia as a queen bed. The bed was a full size. I'm 6'3 and 250 lbs and a full size bed does not cut it for my wife and I.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cute Little Hotel"
The reviews of this hotel made me select it as our choice when going to Portland. We wanted to stay outside of Portland to save a bit of money, we didn't think we loved the hotel and the town as much as we did. It's a little one street town but super cute... the hotel could be charging double what it does .. it's as nice, if not nicer than any Fairmount […] , or Marriot I've stayed at. Actually, we stayed in a Marriot hotel in Seattle two nights over paid double what we did at the Camas hotel and hated every minute of the experince.. hhahahah... Yes say here. The one neg comment i did see was about parking on Thusday due to street cleaning.. silly.. it's around the corner... Stay here.. its totally worth it!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
